The wealthy tycoon, Stanford York, froze the moment he saw me. I handed him the jewelry box. His hand trembled slightly as he took it. From a hidden compartment, he pulled out a photo. It was a picture of two people together. The image had faded so badly that their faces were no longer clear. But he stared at it in silence for a long time. "Where is she?" "My mom passed away." I lowered my eyes. "Before she died, she gave this to me."

I whisper, leading him towards the right to head down the hallways, but I stop, looking back over my shoulder at the closed door with a little pink bow hanging on it. “What’s in that room, Princess?” Uncle Hunter asks, his voice soft and gentle. “Just some broken dreams.” I answer back, feeling a lump forming in my throat. Uncle Hunter says nothing, but lets me lead him to my office. His workers were quick with boxes and bubble wrap, packing away everything inside.

Hands trembling slightly, I opened the box. Inside… A stunning red satin dress. Strapless. Fitted bodice. A slit up the thigh that screamed danger. Beneath it, a jewelry box. A diamond choker necklace and earrings that sparkled like frost. And below that… silver stilettos, delicate as glass but fierce in shape. I opened the envelope with a nervous flick. A single card. We’d love to see you in these, Princess. —A, L & K. My breath caught.

Liam’s POV: I kept that piece of jewelry Olivia had stolen from the princess's bedroom as carefully as I could. There was a loose brick in the corner of my bed that I used as a kind of safe and that protected my belongings from the eyes of all my roommates. Theft was punishable by life imprisonment or execution, and it was absolutely intolerable on the palace grounds, so I had to be very careful with the precious cargo I carried.

I love it. Next were freaking jimmy choo bridal heels. My God everything is so perfect. There was a separate bag filled with makeup. Oh I love makeup so much. There was another blue Tiffany box that contained a beautiful diamond necklace with earrings and a beautiful bracelet. I stared at it with wide eyes. I took out the last box and to my wonder it contained a diamond tiara. Beautiful....... Wait . What am I? Princess? There was a note inside the box. I opened it and to my surprise it said.

She sniffled with a sly smirk on her face. “Of course I did, I wouldn’t hear the end of it from you.” She bursted out laughing, making me join in with her. Cara was a princess and she wanted everybody to obey her and get her gifts, even if she didn’t outright say it. She tore through the golden wrapping paper and laid eyes on the large velvet box that sat in her palm. She gasped softly before looking up at me. “Jewelry? You got me jewelry?” Her eyes glittered with excitement as I nodded my head.

He inhaled sharply and I couldn't help but burst out laughing at his offended expression. “Princess, I have a present for you.” Ben handed me a box and as I opened it, my jaw dropped. “...W-w-what is this?” He took it from the casket and wrapped it around my neck. Seeing my reflection in the mirror, the fascinating jewel completed my appearance and made me more breathtaking than I ever had before.

' We nod silently and decide to leave the palace ask asked. 'I have something that can cheer you up' says the princess and hands me a grey metal box covered with pearls. 'It belonged to your mother and I think you deserve to have it now' says the princess. I look at Jessica and she mummers 'let's go' with a heavy expression. We thank the princess and walk out the palace gate after being greeted by the guard. We sit under a tree a few steps away from the palace gate and decide to open the box. A pen, few photos, some newspaper cuttings and a piece of cloth was all the box contained.

I wanted everything to be perfect for her return. Tonight, I opened her jewelry box, and with a delicate cloth, I began to wipe the treasures that had been stored away for so long. The garnet ring, the golden topaz pendant, the emerald bracelet, deep green like a forest lake, and countless other dazzling diamonds, pearls, and agates. Each one was a work of art, and I loved how they adorned the Princess, making her beauty even more radiant, enhancing her regal aura.

Prince Marc’s eyes soften before he turns gesturing with his head for me to follow, “Her room’s in the family wing, follow me” He leads me down the corridor, turning left to a pair of white grand double doors, more gold gilding the trim. The Prince leads me through them, a pack member bowing as he walks past. We pass a private sitting room, leather sofas sat around a fireplace. Bookshelves covering the walls, we keep going past more doors decorated in gold.
