When I opened the door, a blast of cold air hit me like a wave. It reminded me of that scary time after a really tough delivery, when I was shivering and truly thought that I might not make it. Matthew Smith's voice came from behind me, sounding totally surprised. "Shirley? It's freezing out there. Come on in!" He did not even seem to care that I was sporting a six-month old baby bump. He pushed me aside roughly, but he was super gentle with the person he was bringing inside.

It didn’t take long for them to arrive at their destination. “We’re here,” the guard spoke in a low voice, stopping just right after a door. Mallory similarly stopped and looked at it. The door was not something that can be called a prison. It was… A normal door for a normal room. The door was made of wood, a pattern was engraved on the smooth surface, and the knob was normal. It looks like the prisoners can get out of here as long as they want. However, after seeing the guard fishing out a key from his pants, Mallory’s thought bubble burst in an instant.

Panic clawed at me as I struggled against them, but they didn’t relent. “Please, just listen to me! I can’t stay here. I don’t belong here!” The guards didn’t answer. They kept their silence, their eyes trained forward, ignoring my protests as they ushered me back to my room. This was prison! It was even worse than the dungeon! My heart couldn’t take it! Perhaps, they wanted me to attend the wedding! They wanted to humiliate me in the worst way possible! They finally stopped in front of the familiar door and unlocked it with a key, pushing me inside. I had no idea that the door had been jam locked.

There was a small, rusted sink in the corner, a single exposed lightbulb hanging from the ceiling, and a small, barred window that looked out into the desolate alleyway. It was a prison cell. But as I looked at the heavy lock on the inside of the solid wooden door, a strange, overwhelming wave of relief crashed over me. Liam couldn't get through that door. Gabriel leaned his massive shoulder against the doorframe, watching me take in the grim surroundings. "It's not the penthouse," he said, his voice flat. "It's perfect," I answered honestly, turning to face him.

He walked to the door, paused, then said, “I’m not going to hurt you. Yet. But you’ll stay here until I decide what to do with you.” “Lock me up again?” I spoke softly. He turned. “If that’s what it takes to make you remember where you belong.” He hit a button, and the glass door slid shut with a hiss. I stood frozen, looking at the transparent prison in the same room where I once painted, where I once claimed to be happy.

Fred asks. "I was just eager to live and love,” David answers honestly. We are standing in Alpha Charles's master bedroom. I can’t say that I’m surprised that the bookcase is in fact a doorway. When David slides the bookshelf across the wall, it reveals a heavy metal door. He uses his handprint to unlock the door. As the door opens, I’m shocked to see a large prison cell made of silver bars, across the walls, floor, and roof. The amount of silver in this hidden cell makes Nate uneasy and I can feel him struggling to stay forth. Inside the cell, is a limp and lifeless body. I’ve failed. Will Eve forgive me?

"I'm ready, Mommy" "The plan was set in motion in the wee hours of the morning. My mother had altered Mr. Craig's coffee so he wouldn't wake up until the next night. When Mr. Craig was home, the security was lower. At two o'clock in the morning, a change of guard would occur, and there would be five dead minutes at the back of the house. The friendly guard, Emer, would have the doors opened and distract his companions as long as possible so that we could run to the outside world. Outside, we would have transportation waiting for us, like your motorcycle, to get us away from hell as fast as possible.

Today, I begged Ivy to show me around and that girl took me to the kitchen where she was working. “This is a back door for produce supply. It would be awkward if a simple vegetable vendor enters into the living area with celery and tomatoes.” We laughed at her graphic explanation; however, it was my trump card right now. The kitchen door was locked from inside without keys, so I easily came out of that tall building. “Now, to the gate of this prison.” I braced myself for a long stroll and marched in the dark, with only one thing on my mind. “I cannot spend my life with an animal.”

With a subtle nod from the guard, the sentinels unlocked the door, revealing a dimly lit passage leading to a row of holding cells. My heart sank as the guard gestured toward one of the cells, a foreboding space with bars that cast eerie shadows across the floor. Dread clenched my stomach and a cold realization settled in as he pushed me forward cruelly. "I haven't done anything wrong!" I protested, desperation lacing my words, but they fell on deaf ears. The guard's expression remained stoic, unmoved by my pleas. The heavy door slammed shut behind me with a resounding clang, sealing me within its bleak confines.

They stood up from their beds with other warden pulling them out. She got to the last room and opened the metal gate before entering. The prison room was small with a tiny window, a bunk bed to contain two prisoners and a little table at the end of the Room.
