He lifted me up against his crotch, and I wrapped my legs around his torso, grinding slolwy, and he groaned.
"You would be the death of me."
"And you I," I responded.
He paused, and I knew there was something bothering him.
"Could you promise me something?" he asked.
"Anything," I responded, breathless.
"Whatever happens, promise me that you will live on."
I stared at him, confused.
"A war is coming, and I want you to promise me that if things go bad, you won't try ending yourself too. I want you to find love again and continue your life; that would make me happy—even in death, that you survived, that you would be happy."
