The rough voice emerged from the fog like a blade sliding from its sheath. I didn’t flinch. I knew that voice too well. Caleb Thorne stepped out of the mist wearing a long black coat that shifted in the wind like moving shadows. Vaari screams at her making her drop the heart as she growls at him, completely locked in like a feral beast.
