Xienma quickened her pace, her heart pounding in her chest. As she rounded a corner, she saw him. Xavier, the Rogue King's son, stood there, his eyes locked onto hers. He was tall and lean, with a face that was both handsome and cruel. His eyes were a piercing blue, and they seemed to see right through her. Xienma felt a strange pull towards him, a connection she couldn't explain. "Xavier," she whispered, her voice barely audible. She knew who he was, but she had never seen him before. He was the son of Drax, the Rogue King, the man who had killed her parents and her pack.

In spite of that Xander looked after his brother for the whole night, only to wake to the news that his brother has packed and disappeared. But now that I’ve said it out loud—it suits you. Rayne.” She masked her expression, though her heart thundered. “You must be mistaken.”

Dangerous. Xavier was about to attack but when he saw that it was his mother, he stopped himself and staggered backwards. "What are you doing Mom?!" "Protect her from you," She said and stood before me. "There's a war going on and you're here trying to kill your mate!" Xavier staggered to his feet and laughed. "She's a betrayer. She was sent to kill me. She works for Colin!" "Yes, she does," Our eyes widened at the same time when she mentioned that. I clambered to my feet and stood beside her. "What are you talking about?"

Dark Xavier (smirking): “They want you to be noble. But we know what power really costs.” Xavier (snarling): “You’re not me.” Dark Xavier: “I’m what happens when you stop pretending you can save both her and the world.
