I can make out a pink flower's petal showing from under the right sleeve and what looks a lot like a dragon tail on the left one. "Are you ready?"

That's when I realized they were both wolves. We were led into a room and seated on some soft couches when they started showing dresses. They were all beautiful, but nothing really caught our eyes. Not until one of them came in with the most beautiful dress. The dress was blood red on the off-shoulder part down to the waist, where the color faded into a more golden moon color. The off-shoulder sleeves were butterfly sleeves in lace and small diamonds embedded into them. The first layer is silk, with one layer the same as the sleeves, and the skirt part has 3 layers of lace in different lengths.

Tony cleaned up and left shortly thereafter. Since I was going to a Council meeting I showered again. Vampires were notorious for smelling sex on you and then telling you about it. I dressed in red. The Council had no sense of style so I liked to show them a thing or two. I wore a red, sleeveless turtleneck and red pants that were super tight over my ass and thighs but flared out gradually at the knees until they showed only the tip of a red snakeskin shoes. A red duster completed the ensemble. I wore a gold watch encrusted with rubies and two of my favorite rings.

My stylist braid my hair to the back making me more elegant but sexy at the same time. I love this long red dress so much, it just defines me.

Again, Ella bit her lip as she realized she said more than she should. Red inserted his arms inside the sleeves of Matt’s lab coat, hiding his crisp white shirt underneath. Violet glanced at the red dress again. Never in her life had she thought someone would dare to give her a colorful dress. Not only that, it was red, the color of love, or she could say the color of lust. Instead of purity and colorlessness like white, how could she wear red? She was a widow. She raised the dress higher to look at the design. She was shocked. It was a sleeveless and backless dress. Her blood boiled as she stared at the dress.

It was a short dress. Tiny beads shimmered when I moved, but it wasn't flashy. Just... elegant.

Or rather, apart from the slacks and the shirt which used to be those colors. They were only visible where red blotches did not cover and long rips were absent. One sleeve was rolled up to his elbow, and another was ripped off of the shoulder. One single diamond remained as a button, just like the last piece of sanity on his face, which was covered in thin, red lines.

Niya dropped into the seat opposite Raphael only to look up and freeze. He’d taken off his suit jacket. His white shirt was rolled at the sleeves, exposing those large forearms that flexed each time he reached for something. Her eyes snagged at the thick veins riding up his forearms stretched across taut muscles, peeking just beneath the folded cuffs and disappearing under his shirt. God. Why now?
