Until I Wrote Him
Rosie sings, waggling her eyebrows, “it seems you’re already planning something big and blockbuster-ing.”
I roll my eyes, but my smile betrays me. “About that…” I murmur, reaching into my yellow tote bag. The familiar rustle of paper steadies my heartbeat. I hand her the thick stack.
“I’ve been working on something totally different,” I confess, “and I think it’s worth something.”
Rosie flips through pages, expression shifting from curiosity to confusion.
At a particular paragraph, she pauses, brows scrunching. She looks up at me.
“There’s no title.”
