A group of wolves wearing white armor. White Fang armor. Her eyes widened. “White Fang?” Her mother nodded. “They came.” The future Luna stared. The White Fang warriors fought beside the Moonborn Clan. Protecting them. Defending them. Dying beside them. Among them stood a man. Tall. Powerful. Fearless. His silver hair immediately reminded Sam of someone. Froz. The resemblance was undeniable. “His father.” Her mother answered before she asked. The realization struck hard. Froz’s father.

My mouth goes dry. “What do you mean?” Mom interlaces her fingers with his. Her thumb strokes slow circles along his skin, a silent encouragement. “Your father’s bloodline,” she says gently, “comes from one of the oldest wolf tribes. A scattered, hunted people.” Dad nods. “We were called the Red Wolves.” The room suddenly feels too small. RED. Like the glow in my eyes. Like the burning I felt in my chest. Like the flicker of light that the man I meant in the forest sensed earlier.

“Neither are you.” My father growled but Ethan pulled me back, growling and baring his canines. “Watch yourself, Alpha Cross.” “Who is the pup baring his canines at me?” Alpha Alan stepped up, putting a hand on both Ethan’s shoulder and mine. “My son and current Alpha of the Red River pack. As well as Skylar’s mate.”

My fur was sticking out, and in a few seconds, I would be taking the shape of the wildest, ghastly beast the werewolf kingdom has ever known. "My mate, Hara!" Red broke out, pouncing on the man and ready to chew him up. "Son, get off him right now!" My father roared in his Alpha tone and my wolf got silenced. "Go run it off!" With the command came a loud, furious howl of Red. He was running out of the building with one word on his mind. "Mine!"

Freya I have been working at my father's business since I have been back and I love my job, my mate is the best, he has accepted me and my son. I told Bronx about him and he was upset a little but he has started to warm up to Carl and they get along fine now.
