The Suppressed Lycan Queen
The edges of the boutique blur into a hazy smear of colors I don't have names for, leaving only June in sharp, agonizingly beautiful focus.
My bright blue eyes blow wide, the pupils expanding with a violent snap until the blue is just a thin, jagged ring around a black abyss of hunger. I can feel my heart hammering...one, two, three...against my ribs, the rhythm syncing perfectly, terrifyingly, with the pulse I see throbbing in the hollow of her neck.
I look down at my hand. It’s still vibrating from the contact. The "spark" was so physical, so violent, that I half-expect to see seared scorch marks on my skin.
