Her luck had run out completely. The door opened to reveal a large room. The room was mostly a dark brown, either because of the lighting or the decorations, but Miya got the feeling it was a bit spooky. The room had lots of bookshelves with books neatly arranged on them. There was a set of plush leather sofas in the center of the room. As Miya looked around, she saw the figure waiting for her sitting comfortably reclined in the corner. However, there was something that needed to be said.

They were all visible, so she left the books there, knowing there were no diaries. "Though I know there is nothing, still you are my last hope, corner." Saying she started watching the books when suddenly her feet tripped on the carpet and to balance her hand pushed on one thick book and with a click, suddenly, the shelf slipped aside to open a steel door! "Oh, lord!" Scar gasped, staring at the door. "A hidden door!" She couldn't believe her eyes that the place she always knew had a such thing! 'Wh...what if I could find there what I am searching for!' With that click in mind, Scar tried to open the door but it seemed to require a password.

I wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth and I started getting stuck into the room as soon as the door closed. I needed to make it look like I had cleaned so I started stacking up the books and everything like that but I was paying really close attention to the names of the books. Until I came across a really ancient book of spells and witchcraft. When I picked the book up I felt the energy flowing out of it, and I looked around to make sure that the guard was still outside the closed door. I knew that this was the book that I needed. So I started looking through it and finding a whole heap of different spells that I knew would be helpful in this situation.

As I stepped out, my eyes caught sight of a book. 'Sorcery: The introduction' was what was printed in beautiful cursive on the spine of the book. I pulled it out of its place and two other books fell over where its position had been. Curiosity caused me to open the first page and I find the name of the coven there. "Welcome to the Ravens Den Coven", it said. My eyes skim through the things written on the page and I flip over to the next page. What I find there causes my heart to stop. It causes my whole world to almost fall apart.

I smiled at him and he disappeared on the spot the same way he appeared. I looked at the book and sat down on the carpeted floor. I was ready to learn and I looked at the drawing on the cover page. It wasn't a drawing per se but more of an engraving. It seemed to be calling to me and I touched it. It was a circle with drawings inside it and there was a spiral shape that has three points that emanated from the middle and I touched it and without knowing where a needle or sharp object came from since I hadn't seen any on the book, I felt my finger get pricked and before I could take it back, blood had already trickled on the book and I heard a clicking sound and there was light all around the

I had no choice, so I dug through every gift Zoe had ever given me, but I found nothing. Just when I was about to give up, I shook a pillow, and a tiny paper figure floated out. Its face was drawn to resemble Lucas, and his birth details were written on the back! The fortune teller exclaimed, “That’s it! The lock and the paper figure work together, and since you've touched the lock, the effect on you is stronger. Luckily, you found it early.” I broke out in a cold sweat. That same day, I slipped the paper figure under Miles’ pillow and instructed my parents to watch him while he slept.

Everything felt connected somehow. Then something strange happened. The door opened. By itself. No dramatic explosion. No cosmic music. Just a quiet click. And slowly— the door swung inward. Beyond it waited... a library. Silence. Absolute silence. Hope blinked. "A library?" The creator looked personally delighted. Dangerous. Very dangerous. The room beyond stretched impossibly far. Shelves rising endlessly upward. Lanterns floating between rows of books. Warm golden light. Dust motes drifting lazily through the air.

“Yes, I will be there in the morning. I think your sister is coming with me but I’m not sure. I will let you get back to it and sleep well. Call me if you need anything.” “Bye Mom and I will” and I hung up the phone and went back to get some food. When I looked at the clock it was already nine pm. I couldn’t get over how fast the day went. I just wanted something light that wasn’t too heavy on my stomach. So I made a sandwich and soup. It was nice I sat down at the table and started eating and just thinking about all that had happened. About all that I have learned so far. I plan to take the second book to start reading. I finished the first and took a lot of notes. Plus, I figured some of
