His skin was beginning to smoke, and his bare chest was rigid and blistered. His beautiful face was contorted in agony and his amber eyes bore more pain than she'd ever seen on anyone before.

She seemed uncomfortable when Sire came in, shuffling back a few steps as he bent his head to enter. I don't blame her... "Do you have anything?" I ask, staring down at the book she also gave me to read. The words, strung together like some other language, swim in front of me. This is impossible to decipher. She lets out a frustrated growl. "Nothing reliable." Every now and again her gaze flickers up warily to Sire. He paces incessantly behind me, which seems to be unnerving my friend. "We are running out of time," I exclaim. Day by day people are dying, and the guilt from knowing I unleashed this curse weighs heavily on my shoulders.

All I can say is, I'm thankful I can finally rest my fucking brain from studying the shit of everything." I sigh ejaculation. Sarreth suddenly threw me a black and yellow drink. "What the fuck is this chuckie thing?" I wondered. Sarreth slapped her forehead unconsciously. "Stop cussing the fuck down already, Celare. Are you going to talk to that mysterious goddess of yours like that?" Sarreth asked me a serious question.

In my terrified state, I managed to nod, fighting tears. Everything hurt and I wanted to go home and forget this had ever happened. "Atta boy. Now, there's some stuff we've gotta tell you." He pulled over one of the old crates we liked to sit on. "Do you know why he bit you?" I shook my head. "He's our alpha. Our leader. Alphas have the power to turn humans. The rest of us are betas, and you are too, now."

I have now come to the end of book one of my Cursed by the gods series. It has been a long journey I'm not gonna lie. I lost commitment along the way of writing this book, lost inspiration, even changed the plan I initially had for it. I am really glad that I got to finish it and if you stayed till the end I just want to say thank you for even choosing this book in the first place. I will start with the second book as soon as possible and do my best to make that one better.
