Valerie

Valerie

We must be on our way; your father will be upset I brought you here. I remember the fear in her voice when she spoke those words, the wild rhythm of her heart as she pressed me close to her and ran, the goosebumps along her arms, the way she shook in the heat before they even began running. 'Go to your room Valerie. It's okay baby.' No, it isn't okay. I knew that, still I listened. Screams filled the mansion. I locked my door and cried silently in my pity. My heart-breaking slowly. ****

The start is so intense and dramatic, I love it. I felt her pains, frustrations and I have so many questions, a lot, especially for her father. Why? Why? You have done a great job, author, well-done.

The Ultimate Husband

What he didn't realize at the time was that he was trapped in the most dangerous area of the Wild Deserted Secret Region, named as the Valley of Death by the Raksasa Tribe. The Valley of Death extended to a total distance of over a thousand miles, with danger lurking at every corner of the harsh environment. Not even the bravest warrior of the Raksasa Tribe would dare to enter the area carelessly. Little did Darryl know that he was placed before the cruellest trial by nature itself.

Living With My Lady Boss

Living With My Lady Boss

Had it not been for Cameron stopping him, Wilbur would have ended Mosa and his group. Wilbur did not enjoy killing others, but there was no reason to show those bastards any mercy. "Come on." Cameron led the way, and the rest of them continued heading forward. A little over an hour later, they finally reached the Valley of Death. There were around sixty people standing in front of the entrance of the Valley of Death, all of them wearing solemn expressions. It was only there that the terror of the Valley of Death could be truly felt. The dark clouds in the sky were so thick that it almost felt like the sky was going to fall upon them, rumbling with constant lightning and thunder.

No Escape: The Valley of Death

"We're formally welcoming you to our land, Valle de La Muerte." If she was surprised earlier, she didn't know what more adjectives she could use to express her feelings at the moment. "Valle de La Muerte..." She mumbled. The Valley of Death.

The Runaway Luna's Daughter

The Runaway Luna's Daughter

I couldn't wait for all this to be over. The date had gone well. We had kissed and she made me promise to come see her again. Things were finally as they used to be. “We're here,” Barlas announced, his feet shuffling to a stop. I felt the chill run down my spine. The Valley of the Dead. What the hell were we doing here? From this sunken ground, one could see the pack house perched atop what looked like a huge cliff. No wolf dared come here. Ever. It reeked of death and held the record of the most deaths in one place in all of Lupestone.

The mafia’s captive

The mafia’s captive

Exposed. She stood slowly. Her red silk robe hissed like a viper. “They think leaking footage will scare us.” She picked up a syringe filled with a glowing yellow serum and jabbed it into the neck of a caged man near the altar—an ex-lover who had betrayed her with words, not deeds. He seized violently, eyes rolling back. “No. Fear belongs to the herd. We’re wolves.” The Bone Circle bowed their heads. Valeria turned toward an iron map nailed to the stone wall. Colored pins marked cities. Zurich was burning. Kyoto—charred. Cairo was next. Then Barcelona. And finally—Pyrenees.

BOUND TO THE CRIPPLED CEO

BOUND TO THE CRIPPLED CEO

I could feel her fear like a second heartbeat pressed against my skin. The road twisted into shadows that moved like they were alive. Abandoned houses loomed on either side, broken windows gaping like hollow eyes, doors sagging off rusted hinges. The wind moaned through them, carrying whispers that made me glance over my shoulder. I couldn’t tell if the sounds behind me were footsteps or just my paranoia. Every rustle of leaves, every creak of old metal made my blood run cold. “Mummy… are they coming?” Valerie’s question pierced me.

Fall For Mafia Lord

Fall For Mafia Lord

not even a few seconds have passed that I insisted him. I was honestly scared looking at the valley beneath. My heart skipped beating as I looked below at the valley and it's depth. The green mountains in the front, were blanketed with a sheet of trees and bushes which occurred so small and tiny as if the mountains were covered with green blanket. Just a mere look at them and my head was spinning already. I gripped around his bicep feeling scared. We were like few inches away from our deaths. Our one wrong move, and we would fall down the rock, right in the valley.
