I hoped the walls were soundproof, as I didn’t want to overhear any funny business between Silas and his girlfriend. Climbing onto my bed, I reached for my bedside drawer, pulling out a large book with thick pages and a brown cover. It was a book on vampire origins, and basically everything one needed to know about them. Bill had gifted it to my mom as a moving-in present, thinking she might need it living with two vampires under the same roof. If only he knew Mom didn’t read books. Even when I was a kid, she’d make up my bedtime stories on the spot. She found it funny to tell me horror stories before bed.

Then he cupped my cheeks. "Wh-what are you -" before I could finish, he leaned into a kiss and I opened my mouth to beg him to stop, Alex used this chance to slide his tongue inside my mouth. I tried to push him away but he is way too stronger for me and I stiffened when a warm liquid pour down my throat, his blood. I want to gag. I don't want to become a vampire. But I am going to be one.

And she's surprised when the lock suddenly opens in front of her. She saw an old book inside the vault. A dusty and black old book. Her curiosity becomes even stronger. She took the book and sit on the dusty chair. She opens the pages of the book and started to read its content. "Damien died because of her beloved woman who cheated him on their wedding day. Everyone thought that he really died but actually, he didn't die. He only falls into a deep sleep. And he will rise again once he can drink the blood of a young woman. A special person that has three different kinds of blood inside her body," she stops to read for a moment to catch her breath and then continue.

I'm fine, just come home quick, I think we might finally find out . As soon as I pressed send, a voice made me jump. "Hello, to the new Alpha." I turned around to see a tall man, with long jet black hair, and black eyes. He had a dagger in his hand. "What do you want?" I asked in an angry tone. The next second, he was standing close to me. Damn those speed abilities of vampires. "You." He whispered and dug the dagger into my abdomen. "I came for you Zoe. I want to kill you. Like I killed your parents." He said, twisting the dagger inside me. The cut in my abdomen wasn't healing. My eyes weren't focusing clearly.

A full moon was glowing above Kyle, making the trees that lined Vivian’s suburban street look like skeleton silhouettes. He licked the dried blood off his lips, savoring his delicious kill, recalling Vivian’s expression of fear and terror. It sustained him. She would, he resolved, be the first of many, the first victim in the vampire army he was about to build. The high school. That would be next. He had a burning desire to find the girl who’d turned him—Scarlet. Perhaps she would be there—or someone would who knew where she was.

They collided with the enemies with raw force. It was a total catastrophe, with fur, blood, and jaws snapping. As soon both sides collided there were roars and whimpers, it was too much disorienting but they all completely zoned into the fight. Damon snapped the neck of the first attacker when a wolf lunged at his back trying to take a chunk of his flesh, he was barely able to throw the wolf away when he was attacked from the left, Damon stumbled back but he was fast on his footing as he snarled at the wolf who attacked him, his wolf was bigger and powerful because he was the Alpha. He felt fear reeking off of them but they still attacked.

At her weakest moment, I whisper “Now”. We both bite her in the neck, draining her blood, it is rich, warm, and addictingly sweet. I stop my tasting and let him finish while I find someone else. He needs this more than I do, it is his first hunt. As I step away, he buries his face in her neck and softly growls. Shortly after finding a man and I drain him before he is aware of it. I find another man and bring him to Victor before he can utter a word. He growls, rips the man towards himself, and bites into his neck to f
