The Alpha’s Rejected Human Luna

The Alpha’s Rejected Human Luna

Ronan’s hand brushed mine. I unclenched my fingers and laced them with his. “I’m okay,” I said quietly. “It’s just…" loud in my head.” “We can leave anytime,” he reminded me. “I know,” I said. “That’s… new.” We stepped inside. Fluorescent lights buzzed overhead. The waiting room chairs still formed that same awkward semi‑circle, facing a TV that muttered daytime talk shows. The nurse at the front desk glanced up, eyes flicking over Ronan’s size, Naomi’s hair, Bella’s bouquet, and the car seat.

Assassin Beauty

Assassin Beauty

Alex casually looked at her watch and frowned when she’s been waiting for fifteen minutes already inside the room that she has been told to enter and wait. She stood up and walked around the room several times, her hand touching the wall surface lightly before finally stopping in front of the large viewing panel. She stared at herself, knowing that it’s a one-way glass and the one on the other side is for sure staring at her, studying her carefully. She moved a few inches to her left.

The Carrero Heart (series book 2)

The Carrero Heart (series book 2)

Sterile, cream, and bland with an array of warren like hallways. When I finally wander back into the waiting room there is only Arrick, standing by a window looking out into the darkness and I hesitate for a moment. “Where’s Jake?” I break his trance and he turns to look at me, before coming and relieving me from both mugs, laying one on a low table before going back to where he was before.

Mr. CEO, You Have to Marry My Mommy

Mr. CEO, You Have to Marry My Mommy

"How about it, Honey? Do you want to wait?" "Of course I do, Mommy. We've come all the way here to meet Aunt Emily. During the wait, may I look around here?" Summer's eyes lit up again. The receptionist stood on her tiptoes to see the toddler behind the desk. Seeing her cute face, she smiled. "Of course you may," she replied sweetly. "Make sure you don't go beyond the specified limit." Then, she returned Sky's VVIP visiting card with both hands. "The waiting room is over there, Miss. You can use all the facilities freely."

Sinful Nights

Sinful Nights

Being totally awoken from my intrusive thoughts, I quickly turn my gaze from the window and towards Maddox who is now standing outside the car with his hand out, waiting patiently for me to take it so he can help me out of the car. I crawl out, taking his hand for support as I jump out of the vehicle on onto the road in front of this large, rock building with a narrow, gray roof over top, and large, lighting windows surrounding the place. From the inside, as we inch closer and closer to it, I can see women all about in the waiting room. Some are very pregnant, others a little less, and some are there crying, being held in someone elses loving arms. We enter the building and everyone immediat

Catching the Moon (Chasing the Moon Book 2)

Catching the Moon (Chasing the Moon Book 2)

was painted on the outside. They went into them and ended up in an entry way. They walked around the wall into a medium sized waiting room. It was all dark wood and carpet… a fireplace sat on the wall and there were leather couches and chairs sitting around. A big coffee table sat in the middle of them… filled with books and magazines. In the corner there was a play area for kids. And in the other corner .. a coffee maker and some cups. Right smack in the middle was a large glass area. You could see everything behind it but a big window was cut out of the front . A few people were waiting on the couch and in the chairs. Patients obviously…

Toxic & Tainted: The Billionaire's Cursed Obsession

Toxic & Tainted: The Billionaire's Cursed Obsession

Something that has her name on it. The monitors stabilize. I breathe. I stand in the doorway of room four at Cedars-Sinai at two in the morning and I breathe, and the medical team finishes their work and gives me a look that means wait outside, and I sit in the hallway on a plastic chair and I put my head in my hands. The cold is very still. Waiting.

How to hate a Ceo in 48 hours

How to hate a Ceo in 48 hours

He looked at Maria and took a deep breath, sighing nervously. - You can go back to reception and wait there. - Warned the nurse - As soon as the result is ready, we call you and you will be released. - Thanks. – I said, as I moved with my finger between her little hand, which was holding it, still in Hector's lap. The waiting room was large and airy. All white furniture, including the armchairs. A large TV was on with a colorful cartoon, which immediately caught the attention of Maria Lua, who stopped crying.

We both leaned inside, but the bed was still empty. A passing nurse paused. "Imaging's backed up today. You can wait in the room if you want. The waiting area's pretty full." "Thanks." Sheri dragged a chair from the hallway into the room and then pointed to the other one already there. "Sit down, hon. Your mom'll text me when she gets here."

Arnie of Mutley
I loved this book, it touched me deeply. Beautifully written, characters & situations are well described and the story gave meaning to deep feelings that arrise from difficult situations many people face in their lives. I would certainly read more books by this author.

Such a great book! Hands down one of the best I’ve read on here to date. I went through all the emotions reading Mia and Leo’s story…I laughed, cried and got mad at some point through their journey of friendship, love and growth. Definitely give this book a read!
