Tempting The Bad Boy
The doors swing open, and I step aboard, dipping my bus pass into the ticketing machine, which I think is absolutely ridiculous that they make us do this; no one is ever going to sift through backdated records of the hundreds of students that travel to and from school by bus.
I make my way down the narrow aisle and choose a seat close to the back, sliding open the tiny window to allow the stifling air around me to escape. The bus pulls away from the curb and leaves the school grounds, merging onto the highway. I settle back against my seat and look out the window. The 418 bus is nicknamed the world traveller because it goes up almost every side street in Claremont, whereas the 411 goes along
