“Okay, guys, get off my bride... I am coming back in now.” Relieved, I finish up dinner, and soon Levi is leading me outside, where the floor is cleared for our next moment. Joel announces with grandiosity, “And now for their first dance as man and wife... once again, the fabulous Levi and Willa Thomsen.” As the song ‘Walk Thru Fire’ begins, Levi swings me out onto the dance floor. It’s a bit upbeat for a wedding dance, but the lyrics resonate with our journey together. He holds me close, and in this moment, I feel an overwhelming joy swell within me. I’m in his arms, and nothing else matters. This is what I’ve always dreamed of, finally becoming his wife.
