“What is the point of backtracking now Rhonds? I mean, just sign the papers and give it a chance.” His eyes glimmered at her hard, in a relentless challenge. Oberon Hunter was a man who knew what to do to get exactly what he wanted and he was ready to go almost any lengths to make sure of that. “Remember how it was for you as a child? Torn between your father’s and Libby’s worlds? I know that you told me that you felt absolutely lost in both of them finding no footing to hold you back at all. If not for you, then I sure as hell remember how it was for me----not wanted by anyone and shuttled aside by everyone to fend for myself. My own mother did that to serve her own selfish reasons and purp

EIGHT MONTHS LATER JEFF POV These past eight months have been grueling and the most challenging I’ve ever had to deal with. No vampire attacks had happened but for some reason wolves kept coming up missing. Not just from our pack either. It was happening to packs across the country. Rumors of some turning up weeks later, only to attack their own pack as a rabid. My Beta was searching high and low for a witch that would help us. The issue was no witch wanted to help. They all refused either out of fear of the Vampire King or the fear of using black magic and losing their powers all together. I sat at my desk as I contemplated what to do next. Suddenly my wolf Alec perked up and started runnin

" As he turned his gaze to the lying body, Higgins spoke out against her overreaction. "What's the deal with your stare?" He inquired, seemingly piqued by the tenacity in her imagined grin. "So you're the hunter that Rachel kept telling about. Paul Higgins, the renowned and experienced warrior hunter who became stranded on this continent and incorporated magic into his..." She was led to confess everything she knew about him, at least the scratched surface information that she had been exposed to. "Shut up, little girl." Higgins blurted in a clear-cut manner. As he strutted to the door, he walked over the inquisitor's laying arm, listening for an incoming sound.

He increased the volume and the fluid voice of the man on the screen filled the room. "... establishing ties with old and powerful packs, is a must for any new pack hoping to survive the rocky beginning. The Felt Hunting Club is a perfect way for young alphas like Donovan Creel, Rigel Howcraft and Tobias Lentiyn to get into the graces of these already established Alphas and maybe even form an alliance with them." Helena's magic roared inside of her, an untamed fury that demanded revenge for all the man she was seeing had done. "Are you alright?" Her father asked and she turned to him with a smile.

now Aza's voice looks disbelieving, how could there be a world like that, witches, vampires, werewolves, isn't that just a myth? The more Aza thought, the more confused he was with the contents of the book. Or maybe this is a fairy tale book that he accidentally read and fell asleep, while sleeping the book hit his head so that he forgot that he had the book and read it last night, ok like that. "Argh! No logic, no logic, no logic! What the hell!" Aza grumbled in frustration. "Aza! Come down! Let's eat!" At the moment the confusion in Aza's mind widened, Aubrey's voice was like a savior for Aza who was thinking so hard that he was confused by what he was thinking.

he asked, his tone more curious than accusatory. My wolf hesitated before answering. I knew that telling the truth could be dangerous, but I could not keep silent any longer. "Hunter Grey," I breathed out his name finally. "He knows who those witches who can use that book." Romulo's expression darkened. "Hunter Grey? You've been in contact with a hunter?" "Not willingly," I replied quickly. "He...he cornered me in the forest the night we saved Penelope and Aiden from the witches. He gave me the book and then he attacked me. And he believed that is what the witches want from him."

She crawls out of the reach of his grasp and over to us. “Someone help him!” She cries out as I pull her into my arms. Atticus charges in; there was no way the Hunter was getting away this time. As the Hunter doges blow after blow, I find myself amazed at their movements. It’s like this person was trained from birth to do this, to face furious monsters head-on. Finally, black smoke starts to snake up Hunter’s body, and he’s swallowed by darkness. “The Witches…” I said, knowing that they had helped him escape, but why? Were they not considered monsters as well to the Hunters?

Bonniesaid as she released a wave of fire to knock out the hunters. As they rolled to the ground, two of the witch hunters fired arrows at the girls. “Look out,” April G yelled, raising her hands to freeze the arrows in place. “Their witches,” One of the hunters yelled as they changed the girls with swords in their hands. “Back off,” Liz yelled as she conjured the witch hunters away with her telekinesis. The witch hunters were rendered unconscious as the girls pursued the bugeyes. “How are we going to catch up to John?” April G said.

I gasp, getting up and making my way towards the window, “He is not wrong Hunt. I am not human but I'm not a werewolf either.” This whole time I thought that my father had told Hunter but he has been keeping this secret from him just as long as I have. Hunter says nothing instead he just gestures for me to carry on speaking, “My biological parents were witches, I'm a witch. The night that we were hunting down the laican and dad put me with Axel. He tried to rape me then when I didn't give him what he wanted he tried to kill me.” Hunter’s fists clench next to him and his jawline become more apparent, “That night, Kye saved me but took Axel as a hostage and tortured him for doing what he did.”
