The Wolf Princess Book Novels & Stories

The wolf inside her hummed, coiling with satisfaction, sensing the depth of the moment The pack remained quiet but attentive, their presence a silent affirmation. Selene knelt briefly, feeling their warmth, their trust, their loyalty, and she realized just how much she had become a part of this family not merely as Damien’s mate, but as a leader, protector, and guardian of the pack. Every elder, every younger wolf, even the pups, radiated a quiet acceptance that filled her with a sense of belonging she had never known.

"Your body was too weak for a forced, unnatural awakening, Princess. Years of suppressing the wolves with some toxic liquid vials built an iron wall around your core. The catalyst forced the door open for a single second, but the recoil shattered the lock. The report... the report says your wolf might be forever gone this time around. Permanently burned out." The words hit me in a haze, leaving me very confused and entirely breathless. I stared at the silk sheets, a strange, hollow numbness washing over me. Who had tried to suppress my wolves while growing up? Who could have tried that? I didn't even know how to feel. On one hand, a profound sense of gratitude washed through my chest… I had

“You caused this.” “Caused what—” "I caught his wrist and twisted it behind his back hard. He let out a loud cry. Just then, kael came in, grabbed the young wolf by the throat, and slammed him against the wall. “What the fuck do you think you’re doing.” The young wolf struggled weakly. “ She— the White Wolves they attacked. Burned our farms, killed six of ours. They left a message. Return the princess or there will be a war.”

"Yes, you. What's your name?" I had no interest in starting trouble, so I answered her casually. "Stella Asher." I was the Wolf Princess of the grasslands. The only true princess. I hunted my own wolf during my coming-of-age ceremony and made my own fur coat. Since then, I'd become a legend. Somehow, that story had been twisted into something else. People now believed I'd relied on my parents to get my fur, and now someone was even impersonating me. Still, I didn't want drama with her. I came here to live peacefully for the next four years.

She found the section on history books first, she reached for an old book that caught her eyes, with a thick brown, worn cover and a picture of a wolf on it, one that looked quite similar to the painting of the wolf on the wall in the living room. How strange? She took it immediately, having found her next read, she skipped out of the library and back to her room. She sat curled up in bed by the window, lunch was served by a servant as promised, she ate and stuck to get book. This book, titled, 'The Wolf Within' she had never really read anything like it. It seemed more like a fictional write up, than a history book. It talked about a wolf that was embedded into the souls of 'special people'

I say and pat Aiden’s shoulder before turning my attention to the small girl hiding behind him. “Zara, princess, I am so sorry it took us this long to find you,” I say softly to calm her down. “We have wished for this day, every day. Can I please hug you, princess?” I whisper, not wanting her to be afraid. She surprises me, and I think herself when she rushes into my arms and begins to cry. I hold her tight a feeling of peace and relief floods me. Aiden is anxious, and I smile at him. He is a newly mated wolf, and Alpha was born at that, so I understand him. He doesn’t like seeing his mate crying. “Your safe, princess, and we will get you home. Your mom is waiting for you.”

I shifted. The change ripped through me—bones cracking, muscles tearing, fur sprouting. I didn't fight it. I let it take over. The first wolf came at me. I met it head-on. Teeth sank into fur, claws raked across flesh. I didn't feel it. I just kept moving, kept fighting, kept tearing through anything that got in my way. A second wolf lunged from my right. I twisted away from its jaws and slammed into its side. It hit the ground hard, but another was already coming.

I ask, “I wasn’t, but that’s probably due to who I am. Why are you scared about Marigold?” “Who are you? And… well…” She hesitates to tell me, I don’t blame her. I am a stranger, but her hesitation makes me realize that Marigold’s issue isn’t physical. She breathes out nervously and I tell her, “I’m the Princess of werewolves… that’s why I was never picked on.” She sounds surprised as she asks, “There’s werewolf royalty?” Then she rushes out, “Sorry, I’m new to all of this. I didn’t mean to offend you in any way. Was I supposed to curtsy or something when we met?”

With what little strength I had left, I screamed at them and mentioned the title I had kept buried for years. "This is a warning! I'm the wolf princess of the Werewolf Kingdom! Think about the consequences of hurting me!" They only laughed. "Wolf princess? That ruthless wolf princess from back then? You expect us to believe she turned into a wretch like you?" They ripped what was left of my dress and closed in again. "We're in the wild. No one's coming. Let's finish this." "I won't lie. She's got a hell of a body." I closed my eyes and drowned in despair.
