Third person's POV Derek had no way of knowing how long Tabitha cried silently after that sentence. At the cozy candlelit dinner, Derek lit the birthday candles for Kyrian. Tabitha sang the birthday song with him. And Kyrian, with hands clasped, made a wish with utmost seriousness. "What did you wish for?" Tabitha asked softly. Kyrian smiled sweetly, "If I tell you, it won't come true." His wish was for his mother to get better soon and for his parents to always be by his side.

But every wish came at a price. Each one was twisted, corrupted, and fulfilled in the worst possible way. Fearing this ability would bring disaster to their son, his parents tried to hide it. But eventually, the household staff—people who saw him every day—found out. And once they knew, they used him. They exploited his power to murder his parents and steal everything they owned. Maybe they tricked him with innocent words, saying things like: “I wish your parents would come downstairs right now. Can you make that happen, little one?”

I heard them firmly talk to any of their sextuplet children for the first time. They all were pretty laid out, cool men. It really took a lot to be on their bad side. "Yeah ?
