Just let me be a cannon fodder

Just let me be a cannon fodder

So she was a figment of the past? "She's now considered a forgotten soul? But..." I didn't know how to react to this, I felt somewhat sad and my heart felt heavy. 'So, she can't go back anymore?' "Not anymore. Her death wasn't something that I have written purposefully. The book continues on it's own when a hole in the story is created. She was only a cannon fodder that was sent away right before graduation."

Once won't hurt

Once won't hurt

She was all for love—one of her favorite topics. The guilt I felt ealier couldn't compare to now, she belived I and Henry were inseparable. Henry. Always Henry. But now, he was gone for good. “Thanks for the ancient wisdom, oh wise one,” I teased. “But all I need right now is a book. I brought back Trust the Journey.” I handed it to her. I hadn’t read it—the first three pages had turned me off. “How was it?” she asked hopefully. "Did you like it?" She adjusted her glasses

Once Gone, Gone for Good

Once Gone, Gone for Good

I didn't think she was so ruthless as to want to murder for Jayden's sake. I often had nightmares and suffered from claustrophobia due to her evil actions, which caused me to suffer mentally for a long time. Fortunately, Caspian stayed with me every step of the way and accompanied me through those dark days. I fell in love with him, the man who pampered me and gave me a unique identity. Jayden once regarded me as his saving light. Who would've known that Caspian would turn out to be my salvation? I held Caspian's hand and said with unnatural calm, "We can't let her get away, dear."

Gone Was Her Spring

Gone Was Her Spring

With that, she turned and walked away, her silhouette looking lonely and forsaken. After handling Grandma’s funeral, I left that hometown behind—a place filled with a lot of bittersweet memories. Without any hesitation, I boarded a plane to a southern town where it was warm all year-round. Down there, the flowers bloomed all year round, and the sunshine was blissfully warm.

Going, Going, Gone

Going, Going, Gone

Clapping excitedly, she urged, "Daddy, let's go! I can't wait to go to the amusement park. I want to take lots of pictures and put them in the frame next to my bed!" A jolt of pain shot through my chest. I'd carried these pups for months and nearly died during labor, but as they left, the last bit of attachment I had toward them vanished. Later, I cleared out all my belongings in the villa, then dragged my suitcase downstairs. "Luna Aria, are you heading out?" Bill asked. I nodded. "I'm leaving. Remind Ethan to sign the agreement. And also, stop calling me 'Luna Aria'."

Fragile Ties Of Love

Fragile Ties Of Love

She’s gone. I stared at the nurse, waiting for her to say something else, something like, “Wait—there’s been a mistake,” or “She’s stable, I’m sorry, I got the name wrong.” But she didn’t. She turned and walked away slowly, respectfully—leaving destruction in her wake. I took a step back. My knees buckled. She’s gone. No more sketchbook. No more late-night phone calls. No more crooked smile as she told me I was annoying and adorable in the same breath. No more star gazing. No more bracelets.

FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN

FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN

“I thought she would just be gone for a few days, then reappear again. Maybe she’s just tying some tricks to trick me into thinking that she’s gone, but… It’s been months, and there’s still no signs of her going back… Is she really gone for good? She's not coming back for me?” It was words from a drunk person, but Sheryl was struck dumbed by it. No need to say, this made her angry. She tried searching for Althea again, but who could have thought that Althea suddenly vanished like a smoke?! She tried tracking her, but everything regarding her was shrouded by a dense fog of smoke!

The best part of your story is Characterization and language❤. The plot twist is amazing, For a moment a/f 1st chapter I thought she will find another nicest man, but you changed the entire scenario. So unimaginable twist. I hated Tyler in 1st chapter, but now chapters later I kind of love him.

it's a cute story, only the jumping around time frame can get a little confusing. I think a note at the top of each chapter that mentions *present* or *flashback ___ years* would be beneficial for the reader. Other than that. I really like the story and am looking forward to updates:)

Gone Like It Was Never Here

Gone Like It Was Never Here

"Your child is gone, Mrs. Connolly. The doctors said it was a girl, but she was already lifeless when she was born. They tried everything, but they couldn't save her." "What are you saying?" A faint smile flickered across Lily's face. "No, she wouldn't die. She's strong. She carried on for eight months. There's no way she's gone." "The doctors said by the time you reached the hospital, it was already too late. If only you'd arrived sooner—" "No, she isn't dead. I'm going to find her." Suddenly, Lily summoned a strength she hadn't known she possessed and pushed herself up from the bed. The agony of her organs settling back was so intense it nearly claimed her consciousness.

Billionairess By Survival

Billionairess By Survival

All I could think of was her. Seirra. And she was gone. I raked my hands through my hair and paced the floor, my chest heavy with the ache I couldn’t shake. She hadn’t just left me — she had vanished, like air slipping through my fists no matter how tightly I tried to hold on. I had searched every corner I could think of, asked around discreetly, even had my driver run down a few old connections who usually had answers. But this time, it was like she had disappeared from the face of the earth.

Love the book.......... Their lots of cliffhangers but sometimes Logan just irritates me. The fact he already cheated on Seirra, Abused her and also is currently dating someone yet is still fighting for her pisses me off.... Anyways I'm enjoying every bit of the book

Falling for Her Ruthless Captor

Falling for Her Ruthless Captor

Let them burn. She stormed to the door, yanking it open. But before she crossed the threshold, she looked over her shoulder—eyes glassy, lips trembling. “One day,” she said softly, “you’ll realize what you threw away. And I’ll be long gone.” “Good,” I muttered. “Maybe you’ll take your delusions with you.” The door slammed behind her like a gunshot. And just like that—she was gone. — The silence left behind wasn’t peaceful. It was suffocating.
