Logan diverted his eyes on me through the rearview mirror. "His name is Kyrie Moretti Menzel, didn't you know that?" Logan's mocking words hit me with realization. "He is the only son and heir of the Moretti and Menzel Empire. After you left him, Mr. Menzel took over the Moretti Empire and had it to be under Menzel's." Logan stopped the car and opened the door on his side. "Guess you don't know much about your husband, huh?" When Logan came out of the car, I was left speechless and unmoving. “Now? Can’t it wait? I’m finally enjoying myself.” Leonard didn’t blink. “Now.” Logan glanced at Sophia and then sighed dramatically, dropping his fork onto his plate with a clink. “Fine,” he said. “What’s this about?” Leonard stepped closer, his voice calm and cold. “I hear you’ve been spending time with Luca Diego.” Logan rolled his eyes. “So what if I have? He’s cool. Way better company than some of the statues around here.” Leonard’s eyes narrowed. “That’s not just any guy. That’s Diego’s son.”

Alpha Leonardo fingers brushed my hair. He whiffed. “This is the perfect idea. Sophia will be grateful for that.” His lips pressed against my forehead. Breaking off, he reached for Vogar, lifting and throwing him over his shoulder. Alpha Leonardo’s fingers locked with mine. We stormed out of the warehouse. The sun had already set. The groans of the injured echoed faintly against the marble walls. And in the middle of it, him. Nolan. Standing tall, chest heaving, blood soaking his shirt. What do you need?” The man says. “This is my new master, Hazel Ambrose.” He gestures towards me. “But I guess you already knew that,” he adds in a smug tone. “Honestly,” he sighs, “We really do gossip more than humans.”
