Logan? "What the fuck?!"

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Logan I stood there with my blood boiling as this guy who I had no damn idea who he was, stared back at me with a stupid smile on his face. He extended an arm out to me, making my jaw clench, but my son was here. I wasn't going to make a scene in front of him. "So, you're the infamous Logan? Nice to meet you, man." He says smiling.

I breathed, relief washing over me. The Umbra Academy people turned to face him, their expressions wary. Logan didn’t waste any time. He launched himself at the nearest attacker, his movements a blur of strength and precision. Thorin’s growls echoed in my mind, a fierce symphony of power. “Logan is incredible,” I thought, watching him take down the first assailant with ease. His fists moved like lightning, each strike calculated and devastating. He turned to the next attacker, dodging their blows with an effortless grace. “Stay back, Anne,” he ordered, his voice filled with authority. “I’ve got this.”

I explained. "I'd like to see him try. I'm an Alpha now," Logan replied. "And so is he," I said, almost in a laugh. "What's his name?" Logan asked, narrowing his eyes. "Alpha Leonardo Loren," I told him. "Heard of him?" I asked casually. The corner of his mouth twitched up a little and his eyes flickered before he masked his expression with his usual arrogance.

This was our home, our people, and we weren’t going to let it fall, not while I could still stand, not while Elena was still breathing beside me. A blur broke past the warriors and lunged toward Elena—I turned, too slow—and that was when he appeared. Logan. He slammed into the rogue midair, sending both of them crashing to the ground. He looked like hell, face swollen, shirt torn, limping badly, but his eyes were sharp and locked on the enemy. “I didn’t come to steal your mate,” he said without looking at me, blood dripping from his lip, “I came to protect her.”

Pure fury raged through my veins as I screamed, "ABIGAIL!" I moved with Ceasar to where our child was being held, her eyes locked with Ceasar and a growl errupted from his chest. Most of our pack has shifted and stand on high alert growling and snarling at the 20 rogues, but the one in the middle, the one holding my pup, I know is my beloved grandfather, Vincent DeLuca.

They did not do anything to stop them. And right now, I had no more room for weakness in my world. I refused it with everything that I had. My hands curled into fists as I drew in a deep breath, savoring the chaos around me. Chaos was my ally. Chaos was my strength. Chaos was the one thing that I could rely on in a world like this. Theon stood quietly in the corner, his eyes wide with barely concealed horror. His disgust was evident, etched clearly into his features, but he didn’t dare speak a word. Wise. He knew better than to challenge me. He knew better than to put himself in the face of danger.

And with that, he turned and stalked out of the cabin as fast as he had entered, shutting the door hard behind him. My mother collapsed into a chair, shaking. "Who was that, Annie? His power.it was wonderful. I've never felt anything like it, not even from the Martial Lord." I kept mute, but I knew then my mom knew my state. I couldn't say a lot. I looked down at my babies, their tiny fists opening and closing. My sons needed a pack. They needed the best protection they would have. And Damon, for his wickedness, was still an Alpha, still known by all. The strange man was too much of a risk.

Vera said with a hint of anger. “Don't worry, we will figure everything out” I said while resting my head on her shoulder. “I was supposed to be protecting the both of you” she said while pulling Gina into the hug as well. We suddenly heard hurried footsteps behind us and turned around to see Jake running over with a worried expression. “What's wrong?” I asked before he could get to us. “Logan transformed into his wolf but it went wild in the woods and we are unable to stop it” he said while taking in sharp breaths.
