These Women Book Review Novels & Stories

The ladies giggling and playing games next to a stack of coloring books and crayons of every imaginable color are some of the most competent women I know. How in the world can they be successful, effective women, and also behave like little girls at every opportunity? How can they allow their men to have so much control over their lives? Isn’t that something straight out of the 1800s? Isn’t that what women fought to free themselves from? How can they be so damned in control and yet still give so much up to the men in their lives? I feel like figuring this contradiction out will make the difference in everything to me. I want Micah.

Some may not want to find such things mentioned in books especially when we use the books we read as a means of escape. But, if you haven't forgotten, I made mention that Noor had a traumatic past and this is barely scraping the surface. All women deserve to be respected, we deserve to be cherished, we deserve to be seen as more than just our bodies, we are humans, we are more!!! And we deserve better.
