Anita would spend hours browsing the internet until finally, she clicked on a link that changed her life. "mmmm, what is this, on my feed?" Anita mused as she slowed her scrolling to a stop, on the top of her feed there was a novel that was recommended to her by one of her F******k friends. The cover displayed a man and woman that were intimately intertwined, and on the woman's wrist were chains, and in the man's hand, there was a red riding crop. The novel instantly caught Anita's interest, she was not a virgin but she was innocent still in many ways so seeing the cover of this book piqued her interest so she gave it a chance, and this one fateful moment in time ended up opening her eyes to

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

“I loved.” “I fought.” “I chose.” And with each word, a new line appeared in her book: She rose unloved, but not unloving, She bore the pain, and named it purpose, She walked alone, and still opened the door for others, She remembered who she was before they told her who to be. The monster cracked. Split down the center like a corrupted manuscript, Chapters poured out titles stripped of meaning, stories no longer feared, It began to shrink. Shrivel, Its body returned to sentences and scattered lines.

MAY

MAY

Maryam, still on her school uniform, tugged on May's sweater as they passed a bookstore. "What is it now?" May asked. "Buy me that book." Maryam pointed at the yellow book sitting on the shelf just outside the bookstore. "Why?" May queried. "Isn't that Half of a Yellow Sun written by Chimamanda Adichie?" Iby asked. "I want it," Maryam whined. "Mtcheww. Leave me oh. I’m here to only buy oranges." May said, walking towards where the oranges were sold. Maryam began crying. Iby turned to her. "Are you seriously crying because you want your mom to buy you a book?"

maramartha
May represents a large number of women that are constantly abused in their homes but still manage to smile and live through it. I hope women in similar situations reading this book get some of the happiness that May gets.
The Dream Elixir
This book was beautifully written and I enjoyed it so very much. It made me feel so many things and I was on the edge of my seat for most of the while because I really wanted the best for May. I felt so much anger towards Edric, uncertainty towards Tega, and love for Edric. definitely insightful

The Fall

The Fall

There were only a couple of other kids that chose to read over the computers. I browsed the bookshelf searching for a book to read, my step-father set fire to all my books in the wheel barrow when he first moved in with us. I picked a book up from the shelf, my father had bought me it before he died, I was surprised to see it in a school library. The Darkest Minds. I found my way over to a comfy seat in the corner of the room. Fishing out my glasses from my bag I made sure no one was looking before I put them on. "Hey." A boy interupted me three chapters in. "I'm Aaron." Peeking up from behind my book I saw a guy staring at me with a huge grin on his face. I had no idea how long he had been

My Unwanted Lycan Mate

My Unwanted Lycan Mate

“I have received the remaining harmony from him and also cleared off my debts. I drop at his feet, no one can save me even if I scream and yell for help. I crawled back to my room waiting for my extinction. AN This is the first chapter of the book, please, don't judge me on my English, people make mistakes. Correct me with love and I will be thankful. Thank you for giving this book a chance, and please — do drop your comments.

Her Two Proud Wolves

Her Two Proud Wolves

Dear Readers I want to come on here and apologize for chapters 80, 81, 82, 83, 86, 87 and chapter 91. South Africa experienced a nationwide Internet outage over the last two weeks that affected all of our work greatly. I wrote and published these chapters on Goodnovel itself, meaning online, and with the horrid internet conditions, they cut off my chapters at my last saved when published. I have fixed all of these issues now and hope that there won't be such a problem again for a long while.

Omega (Book 2)

Omega (Book 2)

All he needed do was take care of Harold which his mother was on to already. A smile of satisfaction spread across his face and pride swelled in his heart. Step after step, he got closer to the buildings and he still had about an hour and a half before he was late for curfew. He was still walking when he bumped into someone so hard that he lost his balance and fell to the ground. He stood up filled with anger immediately. An alpha was to never be on the ground. “I'm very, very sorry,” the person who had bumped into him said when he was up on his feet, but Wilkes was having none of that. He had been disgraced by falling to the ground. His ego had been hurt.

The Awakening

The Awakening

Ava’s POV Sleep was a stranger that night. I had tossed and turned until the moon itself had traveled halfway across the sky, the glow through my curtains mocking my exhaustion. My wolf stirred restlessly beneath my skin, as though aware of my turmoil but refusing to share its calm with me. Every breath in the dark felt stifling, every thought circling back to Diego, to Sage, to the chains of my family’s expectations. I finally pushed the covers off with a sigh and padded to my balcony doors. The air outside was cool and heavy with the faint scent of rain. The courtyard below looked peaceful, but peace was the last thing inside me.
