Things To Do In Midnight Novels & Stories

Visa Application denied. Leah was silent for a while, watching me with furrowed brows. Then, as the clock ticked past eleven at night, she perked up as if an idea had sparked. “Wait,” she said, eyes brightening. “What if you try at midnight? I have heard of midnights magic.” I blinked at her, tired. “Midnight?” “Yeah. I read somewhere that sometimes the system refreshes at odd hours. Midnight sounds like… I don’t know, magic time?”

After me, mom and dad ate and caught up on conversation I realized I needed to call Reggie. I excused myself from the table and walked back to my old room and shut the door. I dial, RING RING then Reggie picks up. “Hey dude I found out about a huge mating party for all werewolves that’s going on tonight. Where do I pick you up at,” he’s asks? I’m at mom and dads house,” I told him. My wolf Midnight is awoken by the information of a party. The channel focuses on traveling the country where I document, interview people, search for, and record paranormal experiences and events. I investigate whether there is real paranormal activity occurring or if the disturbances are actually caused by natural events and circumstances. As of to date, I have yet to uncover single true evidence-based paranormal event. For the last four years I’ve spent investigating and documenting suspected paranormal events, there’s always logical and scientific evi

is his only reply. The fact that this was happening and none of us knew about it pissed me off. Our own people were being experimented on and we didn’t have a fucking clue. All of a sudden Midnight stops. She sniffs the air for a second then resumes running. It’s like she didn’t even realize that she was being followed. Or she didn’t care. I don’t know for how long we ran but finally Midnight comes to stop. We were at the edge of a forest and she was staring at something ahead of her.

The chance to breathe again. Later that evening, after helping tuck the twins into bed and listening to Leo’s dramatic retelling of his dinosaur adventures, I finally retreated to my small but comfortable room. I changed into my pajamas and sat on the edge of the bed, replaying the events of my first day at Blackwood Enterprises.

I want to bury my face in that heavy flesh and suck her peaks until she cries my name. "Anyway," Chloe said, quickly changing the subject as she looked out the window. "Are you ready for this party? I heard the hosts are setting up that wild theme tonight. The one from the dark web." "The glory holes?" I asked, my blood suddenly running hot. "Yeah," Chloe whispered, her voice dropping to a breathless murmur. "A thick velvet wall. The girls stand behind it completely anonymous. The guys pay an entry f*e at the door, walk into a private booth, and get to do whatever they want to them. No eyes. No names. Just pure, blind tasting."

"Can I return it? No receipt, but maybe store credit?" He actually snorted. A real sound. From Rivener. She stared at him. "Did... did you just laugh?" "No." "You totally did! That was absolutely a laugh!" "It was an exhale." "With tone." Rivener leaned closer, fingertips brushing hers as he tapped the map. The contact was soft. Unintentional. Maybe. It still sent a warm spark up her arm. "We'll go here at sunset," he said, pointing to a forest clearing marked with a crescent. "It's where the barrier between the physical and the spectral thins. The Sentinel may appear again."

My wolf rumbles with dark satisfaction at what I'd said, the moment we step into the daylight. One thing is certain. The hunt is on! And no amount of lunar tricks, magics or gifts would save the ones who'd dared or will dare to touch what's mine.
