I Moan for My Ex’s Uncle

I Moan for My Ex’s Uncle

All of which I haven’t thanked him for. I sank deeper into the couch and deliberated on a good topic before I said, “Tell me something about you that I don’t already know.” I realised most of the time, we have never actually sat down to talk about ourselves. We only find out things about ourselves or judge from what we see. “I only eat in the house when you are around and eating with me.” A horrified gasp rose in my throat. “You are kidding. You don’t eat after that?”

The Billionaire Professor Wants Me

The Billionaire Professor Wants Me

The thing we don’t talk about is still there, but it's more about respecting each other, hinting stories are waiting to be shared. I agree with Christian but I don't like that the mood has changed. I decide to pivot the conversation to a lighter subject, a topic that might offer a breather from the intensity that lingers in the air. Knowing Christian's expertise in international film studies, I tread carefully into the territory of movies.

I adore this series. I had the privilege to read it a couple years ago on a different platform. It’s incredibly detailed with mostly likeable characters. Plus you get to follow the journey as they grow and develop over several stories. It’s well worth the time invested!

The order of the book is a little confusing, started out with a story about Ethan and Rosalie and mid way through it's like the story has jumped back to were the beginning should be. I love the story but this kinda has me scratching my head .

Filled one with water. Then held it out to him. He looked at it for a second before taking it. “Thanks.” He only drank half before setting it down. “I suck at this.” “At what?” “Talking.” “I noticed.” That earned the tiniest smile. It barely lasted a second. “I don’t even know where I’d start.” “You don’t have to.” He frowned. “What do you mean?” “You don’t always have to explain everything.” I leaned against the counter beside him. “Sometimes people don’t need answers.”

What We Kept In The Dark

What We Kept In The Dark

We keep talking—childhood stories, embarrassing moments, things we believed as kids that we know now are ridiculous. At some point the conversation shifts deeper and Jeremy asks, “What’s one thing you’ve never told anyone?”

Camille is honestly so funny…Asking your fiancé’s best friend, Jeremy, to pretend to be the father? Oh this drama is about to be MESSY. I can’t wait to see how everything explodes when Ryan comes back and finds out, I am absolutely here for it.
Irelyn V.
I feel so bad for Camille—she deserves the best. Ryan is a heartless jerk for leaving her 3 months pregnant while he went on a business trip. For me, Jeremy is the perfect choice and I can’t wait to see their relationship progress. This was an awesome read!

I look down, breathing unevenly. He doesn’t let go of the conversation. His voice stays steady. “That’s why we talk about it now before anything else. So I know what to avoid. So you know what to look for. If anything feels wrong, if anything sends your heart racing in the wrong way, you tell me. We don’t ignore it.” I nod slowly, unable to meet his eyes. “I’m not going to pretend this is easy, Red. But if we don’t talk about it, something could catch you off guard. And I’m not risking that.”

Twist of Fate

Twist of Fate

It was like all the buried emotions and disappointments of past things found its way to their mouths as they pointed out everything that they never really talked about. That's what happens if people in relationships ignore the need to talk about certain things that happened against their expectations, things that need a mature talk on before it gets buried deep only to come out someday aggressively. If things go wrong, it's better to talk about it with each other rather than skipping to the ' pretend like nothing happened’ phase which is more like an unpromised peace that has the capacity to create much stronger and louder storms. a part of her brain keeps recalling the night they argued

it's a love story or sure, but the way she is explaining every emotion of the love between Rishi Anu and Anbu is what makes this book unique. while reading it I felt like I'm back to my clg days, so relatable and connecting. but again the curiosity to know the suspense is killing me. update soon.

How I Met My Wife.

How I Met My Wife.

We eat. We talk. We do not talk about the hospital. We do not talk about the break room. We do not talk about the two weeks, or the three days, or the part of Aiden Black that is the part that disappears. We talk about the small things, the kind of small things that a person talks about on a third date, except we are not on a third date, we are on a redo, which is its own small category, the category of people who have already done the small things and are now doing them on purpose.
