Game of hearts: The Ruthless Alpha and his warrior bride

Game of hearts: The Ruthless Alpha and his warrior bride

Celeste The morning came slow and muted, the kind of light that looked half-asleep as it filtered through my curtains. I had barely slept. My mind had been full of gold-inked words and diagrams that refused to leave. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw that book again the sketches of the mind, the symbols for thought and control, and that single phrase that had branded itself into my memory: “Empathy without boundaries becomes madness.” It looped in my head like a prayer and a curse.

Love At Sea

Love At Sea

She paused, looking out at the horizon of attentive faces. “We are much more afraid of being happy than of suffering. Because suffering is familiar — we have learned how to move through it. Happiness is unknown territory. It’s where we wait for the other shoe to drop. This book is about learning to stay in unknown territory without waiting for catastrophe. It’s about discovering that you can be happy without being wrong for it.” And this third one was a declaration. The passage she chose to read was from the central chapter, the excerpt that had been the hardest and most honest to write:

Choked And Claimed By My Brother’s Best Friend

Choked And Claimed By My Brother’s Best Friend

Present me set it aside… and opened my notebook. Achieving Mind-Blowing Orgasms, I wrote dutifully on my reading log, blocked letters underlined twice. The book had been waiting since Monday, voluptuous promises baked into its table of contents. But the introduction insisted on foundations—nervous system, context, trust—and the word foundations made me feel like a shaky Jenga tower wary of its next block. I read a paragraph. Then another. The blue box breathed beside me like a second presence. “If you had eyes,” I told it, “you’d be staring.”

Business and Pleasure (Hamartia Trilogy Book 1)

Business and Pleasure (Hamartia Trilogy Book 1)

I barely know the guy. The little thoughts in my head were disturbed when a firing pain on my wounded arm emerged like a child screaming for attention. I hissed. The sudden feeling made my skin crawl and I realized that it would be another grumpy morning for me. And things couldn't get any better when I have to pretend like I like Lucas tonight at dinner in front of so many people. I stood from the bed and slightly jumped from the cool marble floor. I reached to kill the lamp, its light sending a sudden ache around my eyes, through my head. I feel like shit. The wine I took must only be having its aftermath.

Comeback Of The Rejected Lycan

Comeback Of The Rejected Lycan

I couldn't help but think that there was something she was hiding from me. The old woman had claimed that there was a book behind all these, but we still hadn't found the book. I noticed she was no longer making any attempt to search for the book and that got me even more suspicious. El and I hadn't been quite driven to know what the book was because Cassandra seemed quite unbothered after some time. I felt them place me on the bed while I groaned. I could feel the sweat on my forehead, and my hair clinging to my face. The pain shooting through my bone marrow. I tried to old the pain in but I was feeling cold and hot at the same time. The poison seemed to be mixing with my blood, and swiftly

Love this book! Ainslee is amazing character, she is fiesty, has a fiery temper and such a beautiful heart. Rafe is very noble, has a fighting spirit and knows what he wants! The story is fascinating, strong character growth and wonderful storytelling! I can't wait for more updates.

Awesome underrated book. Totally glad I gave it a shot. Ainslee is a spitfire despite how grim things were. Great plotline with lots of heat, twists and drama to keep me invested. Some typo errors but has good grammer so understandable. Would be interesting to have baby drake’s story

All the Feels

All the Feels

I'm much too clever a girl for all of that. "Of course, mom. No signed books. Noted." I blow the dust off several bookshelves. The dust burns my eyes and makes me cough. Why do we have so many novels? I find my parent's old love letters gross. I see a book on psychology and look through all the pages. The human brain is a complex maze that requires studying and discipline to unlock its depths. And that's when I see it, 'Chapter 17: The Psychology of Suicide.' The note in my pool bag haunts me—the ghost letters 'J. D' make me gasp for air. Is it a cry for help, and if so, am I too late? If J.D is dead, is it my fault for not hunting everywhere for them?

Submissive to my boss

Submissive to my boss

Awful state,” bisbisbishop between his teeth, reflecting on what it meant to Jay and Sasha in the wake of having their startling memories. “All things considered, it wasn't out of the ordinary,” says Mason, to which I shrug a bit. In any case, isn't it expected that you were done flipping through that book the night before? He asks moving, pointing Angeldo with his pointer to my lap. I stifle a murmur when I see the book sprawled across my thighs with a blue sheet embedded between the pages as a bookmark. “I'm taking as long as I need to, basically, I react, not having the guts to concede that flipping through a lonely passage gives me a terrible headache.
