Stephen King The Library Policeman Novels & Stories

To The Reader, This novel was inspired by my life's experience as a Policeman in two separate towns, Seaside Heights and Spring Lake Heights Police Departments, NJ. Likewise, growing up in a town that was steeped in witchcraft, I gained a great deal of knowledge into the occult which served me well in Police Work. I combined these experiences to create this story, which is partly based on true events. William Kelly, a former Combat Marine, and a Corporal at the six-three precinct of the Heights Police has his world turned upside down when he answers a radio call of a multiple homicide at the East Coast Green Herbal Shop.

He walked towards her and loosed the ropes which were used to tie her hands. "Help yourself, and hey don't think of reporting to the police, because if you do, I am going to hurt and hunt you for the rest of my life", he said and left the room. "Pheeeew, a werewolf, this is going to be fun, he has no idea about what he just did", Mrs. Jones said as she untied the ropes around her legs and waist. She stood up, got hold of her stuff, and exited the room. She came out of the door and found herself in a library, she shook her head and walke

the librarian said with a worried tone. The young lady smiled politely before she started softly shaking her head as her reply to the librarian. She also didn’t know why she suddenly felt as if she became like a rod earlier. She didn’t know either why she suddenly saw those things as if they were real—as if she was really dying because of the pool of blood that suddenly filled her lungs. She didn’t know the reason for those but she is certain that she wasn’t sick. She just hoped right now that it was just really a simple incident and there is nothing else serious because if that wasn’t the case, what if one day she might suddenly lose her life?

“Let’s get you home.” The next day after classes, I went straight to the library. My heart thumped with each step; I needed answers. Werewolves,did they really exist? And if they did, could I be one of them? The changes in me were too strange to ignore. I slid into a quiet corner and opened an old folklore book. The dusty pages smelled of cedar and age. “Looking for something specific?” a gentle voice asked. I jumped. A librarian with round glasses was smiling at me from behind the cart.

Goddess, I hated that word almost as much as I hated keeping up with Alpha Hunter’s ruse. Setting my breakfast down on a nearby table, Sterling hummed quietly. As he turned, his lips twitched clearly fighting a smile. “Actually, I was referring to you sleeping in the library, but by all means you may continue.” I gave him a flat glare which coaxed a chuckle from him, “Fine, but remember you’re the one who said it, not me.” His eyes dropped, scanning my rumpled clothes with interest. “Did you know a ghost roams this very library? Some old scholar type who died of a heart attack in the armchair right over there by the window. He tells me you found something but won’t elaborate on what it is.”

This was what I needed. Time passed. I wasn't sure how much. I just read, turning pages, following the detective as she investigated a murder in rainy London streets. At some point, I heard footsteps in the hallway outside the library. I tensed automatically, listening. The footsteps paused at the library door. I didn't look up from my book. Kept my eyes on the page, even though I wasn't really reading anymore. Just staring at the words while I waited to see what would happen. "You found the library."

“What did he mean by no wolf has ever won it and they die mysteriously?” Harold said dreadfully, forgetting to be silent. The long hushes like a foamy sponge sliding down a gruff wall that came immediately from Wilkes and Trisha quietened him but not before Mrs. Perry got wind of his words. “Who's there?” Mrs. Perry voiced into the dense darkness of the library. A racket mildly shuddered through the environment as she closed the thousand-paged encyclopedia she was attending to after ‘playing’ with Prof. Ericson's aide.

I'll get a glass of water for you to give me a minute". My body went cold as I turned hesitantly towards my house. Kristen watched me turn to go and her eyes darted back to the rose bed. I stopped midway and turned to see reluctantly Officer Stephanie. The color drained from my face, an icy panic ran in my bloodstream, and my throat tightened with the edge of fear. he'd be back in an hour, and I didn't think an hour was enough to look around for anything else suspicious. I opened the library door that was decorated by the lamp's bright light. If it's spectacular during the day, then at night... it's scary, not because of ghosts, but like a void that muffled the mystery itself. Goosebumps swept over my skin, and I restrained myself from running away. If not now, I don't know when else there will be a chance to do this. I went back to the shelf I came across yesterday and found the book again. Opening it, I pulled my phone out of my nightshirt pocket and took a few pictures, then a picture of the page where Killian's profile is. I sent it straight to Kat

The police came to Sia's house and asked her some questions about the library destruction. The Police asked her, “Did you see anything strange in the library before you fainted down?” Sia pressurized her memory and she remembered that she saw a Werewolf in the library and because of it, she fainted and fell on the floor. She told the police about the Werewolf ! The police were shocked to hear her that how it would be possible but the police didn't say anything to her and came out of her home and they decided to go to Ronin’s home.
