She whispered clearly as she frowned. "Ma'am, please help me!" I begged. "Help?" She said and narrowed her eyes, she looks like she was inquisitive about it. "Yes, ma'am." "What help and why me?" She interrogated. "Because you might know about it," I seriously look at her eyes. "Know what?" "Your poem entitled 'I'm sorry,' ma'am. Isn't it's about a man who lived in another world?" I said and I examined her emotion, her eyes widen in horror and chaos.

that I am alive and kicking, safe and sound, and not numb enough to be a robot a lot of people expected me to be. "And I don't want the world to see me, 'Cause I don't think that they'd understand," The world once saw a glimpse of me and it turned out to be disaster. "When everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am," I am me. This is me. This is my reality. It is a war yet it is serene. I am a warrior who fights but I am not a shield everyone can use to be saved from the disaster.

And as I navigate this world, seeking your true name, I'll carry your essence, your spirit, within the poet's flame. =======

Just something to cool this fire in my chest. Downstairs, the kitchen is still and dark. I flick on the light, open the fridge, pour myself a glass of cold water. I’m just about to take a sip when my phone buzzes. Cass. Of course. She sent a poem. A screenshot of a tweet she posted, knowing I’d probably see it late. I open it. “You are not a vessel. You are the sky. You are the universe, and not just the broken stars in your womb.” “You are not your pain. Not your prognosis. Not the people who have tried to rewrite you.”

My people. This ends now, even if it costs me everything.
