COME TO ME

COME TO ME

Marcelino’s bear spirit tried to put up a fight, but without its master, it soon lost and was swallowed whole by the mist. And at that very moment, Thomas knew what he had to do. Amidst the smothering thunderstorm, he could not see his friends, nevertheless, he turned towards the mansion and smiled. Remember me. Then he ran, as fast as his feet could carry him, with his horse spirit charging ahead. The horse jumped onto the mist, stomping it on its hooves with all its might even as the mist pulled at its mane and strangled it. Thomas fought his way to the front door with great difficulty, feeling his skin burn as he moved. The mist finally saw him, standing small, pale and very weak at the f

The Bad Boy & The Mermaid

The Bad Boy & The Mermaid

Hunter The entire ride back to my apartment was silent. Blue continued to look out of the window. Even though she'd stopped crying, her expressions were a dead giveaway that something was wrong. She'd slipped on my t-shirt from before, her hands joined in her lap. When we came back to my apartment, Blue settled down on my bed and continued to stare into space. Leslie was rolling on the floor with joy, unable to contain his happiness on the return of his new best friend.

The Measure of a Touch:from the CEO's contractual wife

The Measure of a Touch:from the CEO's contractual wife

Piper watched him disappear down the hall toward Thomas’s office. She didn’t need to ask. The Stonebridges. Thomas emerged not long after, expression unreadable, papers in hand. He didn’t see her at first — or pretended not to. When he did, his steps slowed. “You’re back early,” he said. “I picked the boys up on time,” she replied. “Toby wouldn’t stop talking about his spelling test.” “Good.” He hesitated, then added, “The Stonebridges are back with trouble. Digging about you.”

Her Graceful War Song

Her Graceful War Song

Colorful flowers were thrown every few steps, scattering the petals across the ground and covering the dirty snow along the path. Thomas rode at the head of the procession, dressed in a deep sky-blue tunic embroidered with mythical beasts. A black-and-white fox fur cloak draped over his shoulders. His tanned skin carried a certain boldness, different from the fair complexions of other noble sons in the capital. The contrast made his sharp features even more striking. His eyes were steady, his purpose clear. Behind him rode a group of young men from his family, while Alice and Opal, along with a few other ladies of the household, sat comfortably in the carriage.

I love reading but choosy, and this book caught my attention as the author's thought was put into writing. It portrayed the life of normal and those in power clearly. It contains political, military, monarchial, business, education, martial arts, humanitarian, judicial aspects that I can relate to.

I like how this novel is now evolving into an interesting Sherlock Holmes case after the much-needed testimonies of Caden, Barett, Viola and Violet in particular... And I don't understand people's lack of patience, I really don't... for my part I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us

Night Gaze The Redemption of Joker

Night Gaze The Redemption of Joker

"Alfred, when we get back. I would like you to drop me off at the door. I want to enter the house alone. I want you to take the boys to get some Ice cream. Because I expect Crane to come while you are gone. "Okay, Sir.” They exited the transit and approached the car. Thomas went ahead and got in. Alfred, Jack, and Bruce headed to the back of the vehicle. Alfred popped the trunk. Bruce stepped up, arched his back, and slid the briefcase into the back. Jack placed the suitcase next to it. Alfred closed the trunk, then walked over, and opened Bruces’ door. In the other seat he saw his father. Thomas was reading a newspaper. He was waiting for them to get settled so he could hand them their gift

His Luna, His Ruin

His Luna, His Ruin

George’s head snapped toward the training courtyard immediately. A massive shadow creature had cornered Thomas against a stone wall. The little boy was trembling. Terrified. And alone. George moved instantly. Too far. Too slow. The creature lunged toward Thomas— Then suddenly froze. Blue light exploded across the courtyard. Everyone stopped. Thomas’s eyes glowed silver-blue. Exactly like the twins. The shadow creature screamed violently as invisible force slammed it backward across the territory. George froze. Alan stared openly. “What the hell—” Thomas looked terrified himself.

Daddy's Enemy is My Mate

Daddy's Enemy is My Mate

Mia's POV “Ava and William have been back in the Blue River Clan for a long time. I do not think they're coming back,” I told Thomas, feeling a bit sad that my best friend hasn't been here with me. “I am missing her already.” Thomas turned to look at me from the bed. “You really miss her do not you? I am sure she misses you too.”

"Oh goodness..!" He teared up. "How do I hold them? They're so delicate, small, tiny and adorable... wow Merri, they're going to grow to be such handsome lads." Blushing Merri, gave Thomas a subtle smile. "The white wool is Lennox and the blue wool is Lionel. Lennox has a birthmark on his neck, it's really helpful with telling them apart." In awe, Thomas decided against holding them. Afraid they'd fall or something. Afraid Austin and Walter would be out to get his head. He did not want any problems for himself. Instead, he stood a bit far and only bent down their cradle to play with their small fingers.

Love the story. Do not change your story because readers might feel offended. Tell the tale as it is. Slavery is a fact and there was rape a daily struggle. But I do believe there was love as well. As I’m a proud mix race women. Born in a Dutch colony, these are the untold stories. Well told!!!

I defined give this book 100...️. Out of all the interesting books (and some not so interesting), this one takes the cake. A few grammatical errors, but at least you understand the actual story nonetheless. I fully recommend it for strong hearted readers. Different plot from the clichés in this app.

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

She pulled the blue pen from behind her ear and licked the tip as though it was a pencil. “So I guess we have to accept that Thomas is telling the truth, and if so, what has he told us that we can use?” “He told us of a girl he saw on the tablet, no more than Beatrice’s age by all accounts. She had a surly demeanour an’ a strawberry birthmark under her right eye. Young Thomas said she had a thick dress with a square neck an’ an apron, an’ white bonnet.” Maud looked down at her glass of flat beer. “He said somethin’ about some writin’, too. A riddle, the kind this town likes to leave behind for others to find.”

The Slaved Virgin Offering

The Slaved Virgin Offering

On Friday night, Thomas was lying in bed reading a book when he heard the living room door opening and closing. Kristy had arrived and called him. She appeared in his bedroom and knocked the door to draw his attention. "Are you going to bed that early, daddy? No TV tonight?" "I am finishing up a mystery book that I've been reading for a long time," Thomas said and she saw him on his striped blue pyjamas. "What about you? Aren't you going out with your sweetheart tonight?"
