They both exchanged a glance, both of them looking a bit uncomfortable. He continued, "The ups of marriage are the good times, the times when everything is going right, and you feel like you're on top of the world. But the downs are the tough times, the times when things aren't going so well, and you feel like you're struggling to stay afloat." He looked at them both seriously. "And that's when the third party comes in. The third party can be anything - a person, a problem, or a situation. And if you're not careful, it can drive a wedge between you and your partner."

(18) |Edited| A D R I A N A •••••• I smiled to myself, already crazy but my friends had no idea. The so called husband that I had married for two years just divorced me because my wolf cleaned his mark. Sorry to say, but good riddance. The problem was, I was in bad talking terms with my dad because he gave me away and he was indirectly the cause of all my problems. Avery packed my stuff with the downest face ever and I shook my head sadly. I was going to miss her and Justin so much. They couldn't leave because well, Justin was Beta and Chris' best friend. He had to help Chris somehow, that's what he said.

"Take it easy Louis, you will drive yourself crazy if you continue like that." "I know you are my best friend but you can't understand how I feel, you are still with the same lady you got married to two years ago but I have already been divorced twice and people are already talking, do you know what they will say when they find out that my third marriage has already crashed even before the wedding day?" I paced around my living room when I realized how fucked I am. "I am going to trend again for the wrong reason." "Calm down Louis, it's not that bad."

At the mention of Kaiden, a flash of guilt flickered across her eyes before rage instantly swallowed it again. "I've told you a thousand times that he's just my employee. Stop being so paranoid and making a scene over nothing." She snapped, "Marriage isn't up for discussion until my company goes public and everything settles down. No amount of throwing fits is going to change that!" After delivering her ultimatum, she tossed the watch she was holding onto the couch, spun on her heel, and stormed out. The door slammed shut with a deafening bang. The vibration shook a framed picture of us right off the entryway wall, and it shattered into pieces the instant it hit the floor.

“Mallory, do you really think everyone here is stupid? I’ve used that same excuse nine times. Do you expect me to say it a tenth time too?” Mallory’s expression darkened immediately. She said with displeasure, “As you said, nine times. So, what is one more? You won’t even say something to defend Ruth. Is your love for her even real?” She spoke as if the request were perfectly justified. Over the past two years, ever since Ruth’s adopted brother, Peter Conroy, returned home, we had gotten married and divorced nine times. Every single time, she gambled our marriage against Peter in some bet.

I held the microphone, my voice echoing throughout the place. The people around us murmured among themselves, and Celia's face showed a fleeting moment of embarrassment. "Zane, stop it. It’s our wedding today." "You’re realizing that now? I don't want to marry you anymore. You're free. Go marry whoever you want." After saying that, I looked at Shane. "Shane, congratulations, you’ve won. I don't want this woman anymore. I wish you a happy marriage and many children." Of course, I did it on purpose.

"I didn't even say yes to your proposal. Do you think I am dumb to just marry you? If you badly need sex then I can give it to you. Just tell me how many you want. The woman outside seemed to enjoy threesome." "Hey!" he said aloud. "Don't say such things. I don't like threesomes. I only want you with me—alone! Got it?" It was like he's talking to a deaf person. She rolled her eyes. "Before we do it—I want us to get married." "And if we don't get along after marriage?" "Then we won't get along. It's as simple as that." "Do you really think I am stupid, Tony?" She asked him, a little agitated.

"The one my wife and I will be moving into after the wedding this evening?" James tossed a silver key ring across the room. I caught it effortlessly. "Are you even a little bit curious to see her?" James asked, shaking his head. "Your wife? Bro, you're actually getting married. D*mn. You're leaving me all alone in the single world." "It's five years," I replied coldly, sliding my silver Rolex onto my wrist. "She will be my wife just for show." Thirty minutes later, my cynicism faded into a blur of blinding camera flashes and low whispers.

"I want to marry you. I want to marry Mila too. I want to wake up and have this be real and legal and impossible to walk away from." Jayson stood up. For a second I thought he was going to leave. Instead, he came around the coffee table and sat on the other side of Riley. "That's insane," he said. "I know," Riley replied. I cut Jayson off before he continued going on and on non stop. “Alright. But like this is crazy, I mean actually crazy," I continued. "Marriage between three people isn't even legally recognized in most places." "I know that too right," Riley said.
