Through My Window Book Series Novels & Stories

My parents are practical people, and my siblings would only make a joke of it. I set my glass on my nightstand and then lay across my bed on my back. Although no candle is burning, there's a perpetual smell in the air — maple, pumpkin, sandalwood — melted into the walls to soothe me but now burning my nose. I lift to open the window but pause. An open window is a way in, a crack for the shadow to pour through. I made it into the house okay, but what if it's still out in the woods? Who's to say the beast disappears in the daylight?

It was emerald green and encrusted with the little green stones all over its cover. "This must be exactly what I've been looking for," he mused to himself as he sat down on the floor and opened the cover of the heavy book and was suddenly filled with anticipation. Just as he opened it, though, a window suddenly blew open and a cold blast of winter air rushed through it. That caused him to instantly jump to his feet and run to close it. When he did that, he accidentally dropped the book back into the hole in the floor and then he heard a loud metal sound that he had never heard before. He didn't stop to investigate though, because he was stuck struggling to close the huge window by himself.

As I made my way towards the hall I saw a girl with jet black hair facing the windows As she heard my footsteps she turned around My breath stopped for a second. The only word that came to my mind was. Beautiful Deep blue eyes were staring at me with innocence. I moved towards her but as I took my first step Ezra's face came in front of me The day I first saw her eyes while I held her tiny body in my arms The fear in her baby blue eyes The mask that covered her face The way she stepped back when I tried to remove her mask The way she vanished just like she came Automatically I closed my eyes

Right behind me is the window and I have no idea of what to do, as am about to reach the window the way the book approach me. The more the book moves the more I moved towards the window. As I was at the top of the window, I book moved with more speed to hit me. MUMMY!!!, I shouted mummy and the fell. Closed my eyes while falling and shouting the word mummy. I was expecting myself to fall on the floor but suddenly, someone beat my head with a hard object and opening my eyes. I found it to be Mr Gibbs. WHAT!!!, I bursted into tears. Why why why and whaaaayyyyy???

The monster who took everything from me. I turn toward the window, my only connection to the outside world. The moonlight spills across the floor, casting eerie shadows that stretch toward me like ghostly fingers. The night is alive with the sounds of the forest—crickets chirping, the distant howl of a wolf, the rustling of leaves in the wind. The wind. My pulse quickens. If I can feel the wind, that means this window isn’t sealed shut. Moving quickly, I cross the room and press my hands against the wooden frame. The glass is old, the wood slightly warped. If I apply enough force—

Nothing. I wrenched open the bathroom door to see that there was a small, high window leading to the outside. I sighed; this was going to be my second bathroom window I was escaping from in less than twenty four hours. This window was super tiny and I was hoping I could make myself small enough to squeeze through. I grabbed a paperweight from the desk and ran in, standing on the back of the toilet and smashing the glass with the apple figurine. I cleared out the glass as best as I could and then hefted myself up, bellying over the edge and poking my head out. I looked down into the face of three warriors who looked beyond relieved to see me. I pulled back in and grabbed the laptop, pass

With my healing ability, I’d be back to normal in a day or so. I exhaled, wiping the sheen of sweat from my brow and pushing myself to my feet, ready to leave. But then I noticed the window – partially open behind the half-drawn pale green curtains. A sudden draft caused the fabric to billow inward, and rain drifted in, scattering droplets across the couch cushions and a few books left atop it. It seemed Anna’s maid had forgotten to close the window before leaving. I moved toward it, driven by instinct, to close it before the rain ruined the books.

Beverly says coldly. “And stay away from the new Alpha.” Then she leaves. Tears blur my vision. My room melts into a swirl of colors. I throw my books off the bed and collapse onto my pillow, crying. "I’m starting a new book." "Yeah? What’s it about?" I looked out the window as the ruins of my life slid past. "It’s about a woman who stopped writing," I said. The driver laughed. "Short book, then." "You’d be surprised." We drove into the dark. The headlights cut a thin, flickering path through the ash. I closed my eyes. For the first time in years, I didn't dream of the Butcher. I didn't dream at all.
