I said, as I stepped back and let Kolt come forward landing on my paws. When Kolt stepped towards Wyntre he began licking her face and playfully nipping at her ear, before Thunder howled and everyone else who had been at the bonfire howled in reply, even Gideon. Then Thunder began running with Snow, Kolt followed with the ranked wolves running next, with Wyntre then Paisley, (Maisey’s wolf) following. When Thunder, Snow, and Kolt stopped the others passed by baring their bellies in submission.

Thunder Pack was ruled by the fierce Alpha Jackson Black. For centuries, our packs had been enemies. We fought over land. Blood was spilled. Many brave wolves died on both sides. They never crossed borders unless they wanted war. My hands turned into tight fists. If they came to attack one of the pack in the Crescent Brotherhood, they picked the wrong night. Just today, my father’s fingers moved for the first time in three years. That small sign gave me hope, and no one was going to ruin it.

72 - Elara The rogue takes Ben down and I see a flash of teeth before Ben shifts as they roll away. I shift and move to help when another barrels into me. Howl Wolf Thor Evans is the horn keeper of the Vanara pack and second-in-command of the wolves. He supports Alpha Lowell no matter what, except in two situations: when he is breaking horns or making incredibly bad decisions that bring harm to the Vanara Pack. I can feel Zanthe wagging her tail in my head, her happiness almost tangible. “What colour is Thor?” I ask, curiosity creeping into my tone. I know Zanthe is just as curious as I am, maybe more. *Growl* The wolf growled feeling the threatening aura; but there was a hint of familiarity within that aura that confused it. It left its cave and came outside, witnessing a darkened sky with numerous bolts of lightning dancing across the clouds. As the thunderous sounds gave birth to rain, the red eyes of the wolf lit up in surprise and joy. The rain that was born from this energy was deadly and dangerous. The trees that accepted this baptism of rain melted into nothingness as soon as they were touched by a few drops and every beast that was drenched by the waters died immediately after; but there was one beast that didn’t experience this.
