Thunder, however, responded with an almost irritating calm, a deep voice echoing in Nolan's mind:
“I'm sorry, Nolan, but you were doing one piece of shit after another. Someone had to stop you.”
Nolan, enraged, began to fire off a series of mental insults at the wolf himself. Harsh words, full of anger, accusations of invading his space and exposing his secrets.
But Thunder chose to ignore it. He didn't respond, he didn't clash. He stood firm, like a silent, dominant presence inside Nolan's mind, reminding him that, despite everything, he was there to protect him - even if Nolan didn't agree with his methods.
