I thought I should make this an explanatory chapter, so that I can explain what has been going on in this story. First of all, those who go back in time or travel to other worlds do not simply send their souls to do so. They don't. They only send a fragment of their soul to fix their biggest unresolved regret. Not everyone can also go back in time like Ariana or Emilio. Only those who have the greatest regrets, or are responsible for the death of many lives, can go back in time or move to another world to right their wrongs.

Mum had just been given her memories back yet wanted to go home to her husband. Mum had just found out that she was pregnant with my siblings and me and knew she belonged with Dad. While in the past, Tracey found out that her best friend, my mother, was her aunt. Charles, Mum’s older brother, had used time travel and slept with a woman in the future. Tracey was the product of that. But I digress. The point is Dad travelled through time to bring his mate back to him. My heart raced, but I held the thread steady. In a blink, we were back. The familiar walls of Scott's room materialized around us, the clock on the wall ticking as if no time had passed at all.
