Time Travel Novels & Stories

Nathan trailed off. “The weird thing about your mind time traveling or your dream consciousness was the limits. You can go forwards as far as you want, but backward only works as far as the present day, or the time you left. Traveling back from “now” was impossible as if the continuum was chopped right off — like we are sitting on a moving dot and can only “bungee jump” forwards and backward back and forth. “What!? No, no. You mean if we travel back now there is a possibility that the battle was finished?”

It wasn't necessary cause I wasn't planning on running, not yet. It had been more than a week since I had travelled back in time. I missed technology terribly. I really wished I could hear to Taylor Swift right now. Ugh! At this point I'll be glad even if I saw a toaster. I looked around the room and saw my tools, notes and equipment scattered everywhere. I cleaned up the mess and hid it under the bed. I needed a break.

It is valid from my perspective. "I'm sorry you were ripped from your family Jessa. After this war, I will see if I can get you home to visit them. If you would like," Braxius offers. Kissing Braxius on his cheek, I sadly say. "They are no longer here, Braxius. I'm the only one left." In this time. "I'm truly sorry, Jessa," Braxius says sincerely. "I will see them again," I tell him confidently. I hope I can someday get back to my own time. But for now, I'm content to be with this man for a short while.

" My eyes flew open to see Sophia standing before me, still alive and breathing. She was wearing an elegant long dress and had her hair pulled up in a high ponytail, radiating youthful energy. Even so, her eyes were unable to hide their contempt. The Sophia from my future was mature, cold, and unapproachable, but this version of her was bright and spirited, still carrying a touch of liveliness. A lump formed in my throat when I laid my eyes on her. The time machine had indeed brought me back to the past, but unfortunately, it seemed to have malfunctioned. Instead of returning to when we first met, I had arrived thirteen years in the past, on the day Sophia and I were about to be married. Tha

She said. "Then, can the three of us go back?" I asked curiously. "No baby, only you will go. Promise me you will not let them succeed this time." She said and I promised her. Next moment I found myself in a room, dressed like a bride. I was confused why I was dressed in a bridal gown. I picked my phone from the dressing table and checked the date . It was 30th October, 2021. It was the day when I got married to Lucas 2 years ago. Does that mean I travelled to the past?

Warm to the taste but minty and cooling on the body. "Time travel is a delicate and intricate matter. Changing the smallest details of anything could lead to major changes in the future." Pennelope stated, her forefinger tapping her teacup as she went on. "For example, delaying events that are set in that time could be the paradox to create a shift in the dynamic of things which we call variants." "Are variants bad?" I took another sip of the tea. "Child, do you sleep well?” Miriam noticed my tired eyes, shrewd as ever.

"We need to go back" "I think I know why you guys are back." Nathaniel trailed off after a minute of thinking about it, "...The weird thing about your mind time traveling or your dream consciousness was the limits. You can go forwards as far as you want, but backward only works as far as the present day, or the time you left. Traveling back from "now" was impossible as if the continuum was chopped right off - like we are sitting on a moving dot and can only "bungee jump" forwards and backward back and forth.

Olivia's POV When the doctor told me I had an inoperable brain tumor, I knew my life was counting down. I was on a camping trip with my family and fiance, planning to tell them I'd agreed to donate a kidney to my sister. Since I was dying anyway, I figured I might as well give it away. But before I could break the news, a sudden storm and mudslide struck, and my sister shoved me into a ravine. Seven days later, when rescuers finally found me, I had only three days left to live.
