I put Wyatt’s plate on in the microwave as Autumn walked out the room. Wyatt came out of the bathroom about 30 minutes later. When I heard the shower go off, I turned the microwave on for 3 minutes and Wyatt happen to walk out as I placed it on the table.

Rising to my feet, I unbuckled the worn watch from my wrist and tossed it lightly to the floor at Nicholas's feet. He threw back his head and downed the glass he was holding. The others picked up their glasses and emptied them as well. Wyatt knew that he didn't have much time left. Once he turned 100, Liam would have to rely on Sebastian and everyone else there if he wanted to ensure the safety of the Holmans. That was why he had seized the opportunity to gather them all together that day. He was building connections for Liam. Once Wyatt was seated, everyone began taking turns to toast Sebastian.
