Niu Tianci shook his head and said to Zhou Tian, "I can't do anything about it. The witch Poison in your body is too dangerous. With my strength, it's not enough to remove your Witch Poison." As he spoke, Niu Tianci took out a small pill from his bag. He handed the pill to Zhou Tian and said, "Mr. Zhou, you can take this pill. It should be able to prolong your life." Zhou Tian looked at the pill that Niu Tianci handed over. It was a date-red pill with a strong vanilla smell. He didn't know what medicine it was made of. "Thank you for your kindness, but it doesn't make sense for me to take this pill now, because I have already taken the medicine."

“I’ve thought a bit about how I’d like to go about it. I settled on this being the most fun.” “Fun?” This certainly didn’t feel like fun. Was it erotic? Definitely. Was my curiosity running rampant? I tore it off incase Karen found it. Take one in the morning and evening for three days and you are good.”

It was quiet here, so colourless. Reaching into the pocket of her down parka, she pulled out a small bottle of pills and looked at it. The directions had said to take no more than six tablets a day. There were fifty in the small plastic bottle. Uncapping it, she spilled the red pills into her palm. 5. 6. 8. 10. And half the bottle. Antihistamines were the strongest drugs she could think to buy over the counter. These looked like the red hots her father liked to buy when he took her to the movies.

Then she remembered the pill that he gave him. 'Did I took the right pill?' she asked herself, trying to recall the color of the bottle where she got it. As far as she can remember, she only have two of them. The white one was where the pills to stop any kind of bleeding was put. The other green one was for the painkillers. And it was the green bottle that she took out of her medicine pouch earlier. She couldn't be wrong.

I still held firm to the notion that what she didn't know wouldn't hurt her. Not long after we'd found our spot for the night, Jamison joined us, snatching the joint from Carson's hand. He took a long drag with the paper pinched between his fingers, and simultaneously stuck his fist into the middle of our little circle. I was the only one of the four of us still sober, although it wouldn't take long for the effects to kick in. My eyes were glued to his hand, and one by one his fingers uncurled until he exposed a handful of pills in his palm. I arched an eyebrow, my curiosity piqued. "What's this?" I whispered, trying to keep our exchange discreet amid the pulsating chaos around us. Stacy leaned in closer, her lips brushing my ear as she spoke. "It's called the pink unicorn," she murmured. "It'll make you feel like you're in a fairyland. And this babe costs more than a thousand dollars in the market." My eyes widened with skepticism. A pill worth a thousand dollars? "How the hell did you even snag that thing?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at her.

They don’t look like any painkiller I’ve ever seen and considering the injections are working, I’m not sure why I need to take more medication. “What are they?” I ask her as I scrunch up my nose, the pills are pink, only a few millimetres big but I know from experience that the smallest pill can pack a big ass punch. I’ve seen pretty much every drug thanks to the reststops but I’ve never seen one like these. There are no identifying markers or numbers to tell me where they were made and they don’t look like they were made in some back alley shop. There’s a lack of discolouration or lint sticking to them and while that should be a good thing, it's raising all kinds of alarm bells inside of me
