Once it’s fully grown, you will die. “You would probably have three more days to live if I hadn’t knocked the Ghoul Parasite out of you. “You’re fine now.” Those infected with the Ghoul Parasite would have black undertones under their wrinkles.

“I’m sorry, Liam. I don’t know how to sense them because I’ve never seen a ghoul before.” “Damn it,” Liam mutters under his breath, tightening his grip on my shoulder. “We need to get out of here. Fast.” Before I can even process what Liam is saying, the ghouls appear out of nowhere. Their ghostly figures seem to appear and disappear almost like a mirage, and their shrieking fills the air. Fear takes over me, especially when I hear a voice inside of my head say, ‘Purple-eyed wolf. I want to feast on your blood and take your powers!’

~Skylar's POV~ The rain-slicked streets of downtown Tokyo gleamed under the neon haze, but inside the back room of that dimly lit izakaya, the air felt thicker, heavier, like the weight of a noose tightening around my neck. I stood there, fists clenched at my sides, staring down the man who held my family's fate in his scarred hands. Fei Long.

How did you even get out this far?”

It looks like an abandoned underground base or labyrinths. The torches on the wall were neatly arranged so that Yao Tai could see more clearly at this place. Yao Tai looked ten meters away from him. There were five ghouls standing around doing nothing. He could clearly see their rotten flesh. He waved his sword and lunged forward. Swoosh! "death!!" He roared as he waved his sword. Ra's al Ghul flew off and crashed into the ceiling. Heavy blood splattered everywhere. Yao Tai ignored this and kicked the ogre's body, which cut off its head.

Brandon opened his eyes to see the Ghoul down at his knees, it had its long clawed hands bunched near its head, clutching it in agony as, horrible desperate and pained screams and cackles poured out of its gaping, slobbery mouth. As did the bubble and churn of fresh blood vomited up over its fangs.

He took his time and finally fixed his attention to the short girl with butterfly hairpins, thinking he would easily devour her. As soon as he was done calculating, he jumped as high, alerting the three humans. But as the ghoul’s increased speed, he immediately took his target and disappeared within a blink leaving Yushiro and Rebecca to freeze in the moment. When they realized, they spread and chased the ghoul.

She felt a shiver go down her spine as the ghoul's eyes fixed on her. The ghoul laughed, "Oh, I do not think she will be going anywhere." It shoved Lila aside, sending her crashing into a nearby tree. Lila crumpled to the ground, dazed. The ghoul advanced on Hailey, its clawed hands reaching for her. "You smell...different," it hissed. "Special. I wonder what your blood tastes like?" The ghoul bared its sharp teeth, its face twisted in what seemed like a grin. Before Hailey could react, it moved so quickly that she barely saw it coming. Her shoulder was suddenly ripped apart by a sharp pain.
