Osric answers while sitting on the edge of the lounge near Raven’s head making her smile. “How are you doing? It’s a big tattoo, you hurting yet?” I question, looking down at her hip to see the raven in red ink at the top of her hip taking up almost her entire thigh. The tattoo is very cool, the Raven is in a defensive attack position and made of knots like you would see in old Norse temples. “Enjoying talking to these guys, and getting to know Ares a bit better, it stings when it’s right over the bone but not bad,” Raven admits while looking down at the tattoo gun pressing against her skin, as Ares works on the dark red outline.

“Murderer! Where’s my sister?!” A girl pushed through the crowd, her face streaked with tears and dust. She grabbed another stone, rage twisting her features. Before she could throw it, someone moved faster. A tall figure stepped between us, his arm coming up just in time to block the blow. The world seemed to still. I looked up, and there he was. Alaric. The Raven King himself. His eyes… deep, stormy gray, locked on mine. His jaw tightened as he turned to glare at the crowd, his presence alone enough to make grown men bow their heads.

The latter was even ignoring her most of the time. She just complied to the instructions provided by Calliope. She can't even refuse Zarek's assistance because he's the fighter of the team. Heinz is the tech, Logan is the sniper, Van is the doctor, and her–the thief. Although all of them can fight, but Zarek is still the deadliest among all of them. Raven was the only one who dares to snap at Zarek. She even dares to hate him. Her thoughts were cut off when her phone rang. She didn't even get to answer it because it was ended within seconds.

She rushed towards Raphael. "Raphael, please let him go" she urged him softly. Raphael is oozing power like a burning hot furnace. No one is courageous enough to even lift their heads. But Valerie is trying to pacify him with out any fear, which shocked everyone. Arthur and Anesthesia are tensed. Ravens are known for their impulsive nature. They are worried that the Raven prince would hurt their in anger. What is making them even more worried is that, she just used his first name to address him. She was supposed to use his title.

JAX The hockey arena was too loud. It was always too loud. The ice reflected the bright lights, and the screaming of the fans felt like needles in my ears. I stood in the tunnel, my arms crossed over my chest. I was wearing my black security jacket, but I wasn't there for the team. I was there for Raven. Cole—or Theo, as the humans called him—was out on the ice. He was the star. He was the hero. Every time he touched the puck, the girls in the front row screamed until their faces were red. It was a human circus, and I hated it.

I managed to ask, although the words came out so quietly that I wasn’t sure they’d heard me. The tallest man tilted his head, studying me for a moment before a small smile touched his mouth. There was something strange about the way he looked at me. It wasn’t the cold stare I’d expected from someone who had just walked into a warehouse and killed half the men inside it. His eyes seemed almost hungry, as though he’d been waiting to see me for a very long time. “The Ravens.” My stomach dropped. Ravens. I remembered the word immediately. The men who had kidnapped me had said it while they were filming me, but I hadn’t understood what they meant. I’d assumed it was the name of whoever they were

I frowned, making my frown look cuter than I intended, and he flicked my cheek playfully. "Ouch! What was that for?" I whined, rubbing it playfully. "You just woke up from losing consciousness, and now you’re talking about discharge? Do you even know how worried I was?" "You were worried about me?" I asked almost immediately. Raven cleared his throat and looked away from me. "I didn't say that," he mumbled. I chuckled. Thorne and Raven slightly have the same personality. They’re cold but can be very shy. Lucian is the one who isn't shy and could blend in anywhere.

Raven rolled her eyes " Didn't you just say you'll roast him alive" She frowned in confusion " Wait! How did he even call you directly, are you.. " I'm Meek and he's Eight, we're Venom's companions" Meek said with an outstretched hand, Raven enveloped her hand with his, she wondered why she felt like she was drowning while staring into his deep brown eyes. " Uh.I I'm Raven Smith, the eldest miss of the Smith family, it's nice to meet you both" **** Even as Olivia scanned the entire hall, she couldn't find anything that could have frightened Daera.

I began the introduction after tucking the brown strands of my stubborn curly hair behind my ear. "Hello, everyone! Welcome to His Little Assassin's Character Interview! Where I, Aiesh, your interviewer for today, will have a question-and-answer session with one of the story's very important characters! As you can see, for this prologue, we have here as our very first guest the one and only main character who portrays Avyanna Collins, and is also widely known in the book by her other identity, Raven of the XYS!" I ask her my first question with enthusiasm. "So, Raven, what is your role in the story?"

Raven sat up straighter, playing the role of someone grasping at any connection to her lost love. The woman hesitated, then slid into the chair across from Raven. "I'm Tessa. My old man is Rattler, the Diamondbacks' sergeant-at-arms. Michael was... he worked with us sometimes. Small jobs, nothing heavy." She studied Raven's face carefully.
