Raven nodded, setting his phone aside. "Yeah, it’s true. He and Natasha have a daughter," he replied. Brienne's eyes widened in surprise, and Raven chuckled at her reaction. He reached for a piece of cake Ravena had ordered for Brienne earlier. "She's trying to win Natasha back," he said before taking a bite. Brienne blushed, remembering how she couldn’t eat the cake earlier without feeling nauseous. "Sorry about the cake. I really thought I’d be able to eat it," she murmured. Ravena waved her hand dismissively, grinning.

1. Book 2 was never planned. It’s literally based on me putting two brain cells together to come up with ideas cuz the first book exhausted the rest of my brain cells, and I obviously didn’t expect to be writing a book 3. I was going to write one, but now it’ll be book 4 (we’ll get to that another time). 2. Natsumi’s name was originally Hakumei because it translates to twilight. Then I changed it to Koharu (which means little sun) because of her blonde hair, but I decided to make it Natsumi because...I just liked it better ok.

The car stops in front of a house where a man and a woman—middle-aged—walk out to greet me. I step out. “Good afternoon.” I offer a small bow. “Roland, how are you?” the woman speaks first. “I’m Rachel, Diana’s mother.” She opens her arms for a hug. I do not care for hugs. Or people. I never have. “Sorry,” I say flatly. “I’m not a hugger.” Her arms fall back to her sides, smile stiff. The man steps in. “Dylan, Diana’s father.” He offers his hand. I accept it.

"Uhm, can I have your ticket?" Kane raised a brow, amusement flickering in his blue eyes. "Ticket?" he repeated, his voice deep, teasing. The redhead—Mona, according to her name tag—bit down on her plump lower lip, her gaze darting everywhere except at him. "Sorry, it's just... you look familiar." That made him chuckle. Oh, really? He tilted his head slightly, his gaze flickering to the large poster plastered beside her booth—a giant picture of himself, fists raised, the underground champion.

Roy stood next to a tiny vending machine in the corner, trying out a strawberry flavour this time. Tanaka remained silent, arms folded, eyes locked on his gear. “No info on Ringo,” Brock muttered. “New entry. No videos, no stats, no aliases.
