Heather is completely serious as she explains her thoughts to Tommy. Heather feels like she is finally gaining an understanding of who Liam Sullivan is and the lengths he is willing to go to succeed. She knows he is willing to kill, so it is not a stretch to believe that he would kill his father to take over the company. Tommy is visibly struggling with all of this speculation. Officer Tommy McNeil has been a cop for two years, but he has never been involved in a major case. Heather watches him carefully reading through the files. She knows he is trying to find something concrete to focus on because her theories are too much for him to handle right now.

Tom said and extended his glass for a toast. Liam looked at the glass, then at Tom and made no move to raise his own drink. “No, Mr. Garner,” Liam stated. Tom's smile stopped, his brow furrowed slightly. “No? What do you mean, no? Tom questioned. “I mean no, there will be no more days of us working together. This is the first and last time we will ever meet,” Liam said firmly. Tom stared, genuinely surprised. “Don’t be ridiculous. We just pulled off a masterpiece! You're clearly talented. We could do so much more,” Tom argued.

I said smugly and I could see the smoke coming out of his ears like in a cartoon “You are dropping me for that looser?” he asked in shock giving Tom a quick sharp glance “Yes just like you dropped me for that whore” I shot back and that shut him up. Liam was quiet for the rest of the lesson and kept looking back at Tom who seemed to be unaffected by Liam’s death glares. He must’ve been used to his narcissistic ways, Liam’s pride could fill up the whole wolf world if given the opportunity and I got the feeling the wolves here normally gave him room to do so.

What actually happened was Tom, a jerk who just happened to be in the same classes as me, came out and said, “Hey what you doing on our property?” “Trying to see Liam.” He spat out, “That waste of space. If you’re trying to get into any bedroom, it should be mine.” Keep telling yourself that. “I could help you,” he said as he grabbed my hand. I thought about just moving to the front door and knocking on it, like I should have done. But by then it was too late. Tom had been drinking and like the true ass that he was, he pulled me closer to him. “Can you feel that Adele? It’s ready for you.”

After Tom returned home, the first thing he did was frantically destroy things in his house. This was his way of expressing his anger. Tom tried to return hoping Lisanna could accept his proposal, but what he received was not Lisanna's agreement, he received a strong rejection from Lisanna. Lisanna accepted Dominic's feelings, Lisanna was thinking about remarrying Dominic, and this was a slap in the face for Tom. His face was filled with anger, he broke things as he spoke.
