I replied frustratedly. “I’m sorry sir, I don’t follow you." “Leah. She’s a country girl that moved hundreds of miles away from her family and friends to complete a work placement and study course to further her career. She’s quiet, keep to herself, girl next door type and yet she was broken into and chased downtown. It makes no sense.” “Have the police come up with anything?” “I haven’t heard from Amelia yet. I’m going to call her shortly.”

Anaya

Anaya

I was having a rage rant, but I couldn't help it, I was just so fucking tired, so damn tired of the stares, the whispers, and people constantly walking on egg shells around me My chair scraped across the tiles as I stood "Do you know that they whisper about me? They stare and whisper as I walk past them, I once heard someone ask "isn't she the one who almost unalived herself?" "What? who said that?" My mum asked "what does it matter? Even in church that's meant to be judgement free, they gossip when they see me, I try to pretend like I can't feel them staring at me, I swear even the priests stare at me and gossip, what is wrong with me? Do I have a problem?"

The Awakening

The Awakening

Her father is hardly ever home, working long hours in the city while her mother spends most of her time grading papers from all of her high school students. She opens the door quietly, but there is no need. Her mother is still awake. She's curled up in the living room reading her latest adventure novel wrapped on the comfy (and dare she call ugly) recliner her father just had to have. Her curly auburn hair is up in a bun with a few stray strands spiraling free as her eyes intently scan the new Kindle she received for her birthday only a few weeks ago. It's safe to say she has become a little obsessed with it. Can't say Sera can blame her. She herself escapes to a different world every time s

Morrigan

Morrigan

Finally, leaving the hell called reality, but only the silence of the night seems to comfort her, and the silent whispers of the wind talks with her. She took a deep breath and hoisted the hem of her chemise, pulling herself up and sitting on the windowsill, her feet hanging in the air. Resting her head by the frame of the window gazing out the vast darkness in front of her. She took the ribbon off her braided hair and let it dance along with the cold breeze of the night air. "I'm no different from the slave I freed, Lydia... We are both shackled by our fate, the only difference was he was shackled with physical shackles while I was shackled by the tragedy that befell me. I saw myself to him

Alpha Kate

Alpha Kate

Moving forward around the warriors, I continue, “I am sure you won’t want to break any clauses already, now would you Alpha Cory?” “Go ahead you little bitch, renounce our Pack,” he sneers. “I, Louise Adams renounce the Harvest Moon Pack, so that I may join the Golden Moon Pack,” she states clearly. As I listen to her state her name, I feel a lot of emotion rushing through me. Adams may seem like a common name, but it isn’t among Pack members. Looking at her, I really look at her and see a resemblance I hadn’t see originally. As we move to leave, I ask Louise if she has any things she needs to pick up. She runs to her room and grabs some books and a few clothes she had in a backpack and

Love this book. Poor Kate went through so much during the course of this book. She went from being rejected, having to postpone being made Alpha, to being challenged and attacked multiple times. I'm so happy that she finally got her mate, Colby, who seems to be amazing.

Emily Warner

Emily Warner

Emily Warner The loud knocking and my cat meowing in my face woke me up. What the damn hell? “Emily Anne Warner, if you don’t open this damned door in a minute, I swear to god I will knock it down with a bulldozer. I am not kidding you. You haven’t replied to any texts or calls in a week. At least before that you answered my texts. I am not going to leave you alone now.” I sat up straight in my bed as I could hear Danika yelling.

After sitting, an older woman is scolding her daughter, whom she calls "Ashanti." Ashanti. I love it. Ashanti Dunbar. Perfect.

Opening the door, Christiana stood in front of her. "I forgot my handbag and umbrella at your house." "So sorry for the inconvenience." Her voice was laced with remorse. Staring at her, Daisy Hunter said," What, No, it's really okay…I too forget my stuff in people's homes." Daisy Hunter said, smiling gleefully, exposing her perfect dentition. Stepping into the dimly lit room, Christiana spotted her handbag and umbrella, grabbing it, she thanked Daisy and stepped out immediately.
