When it disappeared, he added, “I don’t have time to date right now. I’m too busy.” Too busy with me. Guilt fizzled through me. “You can… If you need to…” Why was this so hard to say? I inhaled a deep, steadying breath. “I’d understand if you need more time to yourself.”
