I tried to increase my speed but days of hiking with little food and water caught up to me. It’s just like my dream. I knew that would be one of the last thoughts I had before it was too late. As I heard the bear get closer and closer, I turned to face it mid-run. The bear jumped into the air and reached out its seven inch long claws, ready to rip me into shreds. A blur slammed into the bear and sent it flying into a tree nearby. My eyes struggled to follow as the blur moved on from the spot to the bear that had just landed on the ground.

It wasn’t unnatural for people to jot things down on the pages of the book they’re reading. It wasn’t unnatural until I flipped a few more pages and saw another handwritten text, obviously done by the same person. “I lied. My snuggle bear is 2. It didn’t get better.” For some reason, my heart broke, and I felt a deep sadness I couldn’t explain. What didn’t get better? Who was this person and what were they trying to say? Snuggle bear? Who was that? My mind ran a mile per minute, and I temporarily forgot the book I was reading, and got lost in thoughts. Then, like a flash of light, a memory flashed in my eyes.

A figure pounced on the bear, his fists ablaze with brilliantly colored spiritual flames as a terrifying aura rolled off him in waves. The figure raised a fist, casting a blow toward the bear's head. Everyone stared at the godlike man in the air in a daze. His courage was truly mind-blowing. The bear let out a howl at the sight of an attacker, its paws lighting up with spiritual flames as it swiped at the man. Yet the man turned around at an impossible angle, ducking out of the bear's grip perfectly before landing the blow on its head. A deafening sound rang through the air as the bear let out a howl of agony, falling from the air and crashing onto the ground.

, Jared replied. "Including the spirit animals?", Alex's eyebrows raised in interest. "What are spirit animals?", Jared felt lost. "The mystical creatures that resides in this forest, they are called spirit animals. You saw a giant sized bird here a week ago that caused you to dislocated your ankle". Alex explained. "Yes, I remember but I still feel comfortable here". Jared understood what Alex was trying to tell him. He probably wanted him to understand the dangers of the forest. The distant roar of the bear echoed through the corners of the forest, fueling my urgency to reach Hunter. When I arrived, I was met with the terrifying scene. The Brown Bear raised its imposing paw, ready to deliver the final blow to Hunter. Without hesitation, I jumped on the bear's back, surprising both the bear and Hunter. “Fierce, what are you doing?” he exclaimed, confused. “I came to help you,” I replied, wasting no time. My loyalty to him surpassed any test or ceremony. Hunter, surprised, ordered me, “Go away, Fierce. This is my test.”

Elysia extended her hand, allowing the spirit to nuzzle it gently before it melted back into the wilderness, leaving behind an air of mystique. Kael's voice carried a note of wonder. "Perhaps the realm acknowledges our efforts, and its ancient spirits offer their blessings." As the heroes resumed their journey, a sense of purpose burned brighter within them.
