It was like nothing I had ever seen before, just like the house. “This is beautiful,” I gasped. “It’s not often the Thorns open up their gardens but tonight they did.” “I am glad they did, but I am also glad you showed them to me.” “You haven’t seen anything yet.” he smirked, “care to join me on a walk through them?” Nerves filled my entire body. He must have been able to tell I was unsure, “how about you walk with me for a little while around these beautiful gardens, and if after our walk you still want to leave, I will personally ensure you get home safe.”

The sheer, terrifying density of the razor-sharp, heavily rusted thorns would violently shred his heavily blistered lips and raw throat completely apart. He raised his head to look at her, like he was surprised to see her there. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” She’d asked as she tried to pry open his fist. He’d let her, opened it up easily and let her take the rose from his now bloody palm, the flower fell to the floor. “Shit!” She exclaimed as pulled up the hem of her oversized t-shirt and proceeded to clean the blood from his palm. “Are you insane?” she whipped her head up to look at him “Why would you hold a rose that way, didn’t you ever learn that you have to avoid the thorns?”

It's the mate bond. I walked over and stood over Mason. He looked up at me and growled. "Growl all you want, Mason. You're pathetic." I spat at him. As I started walking away, he grabbed my ankle, making me fall and hit my head on a rock. The thorns are wet, but it’s not… not water. I drop the rose and look down at my palm, and the smear of blood left behind.

Gem was used to collecting and not giving so it was hard for us to bond because I was looking for stability and she was always trying to drain me. I would ask our cook to make lunch for two and I would share my meal with Rose, I was bullied in school because I was reserved and I couldn't stand up for myself, I was too scared too and they would bully me for being naive, but it was different when I became friends with Rose, she stood up for me and helped me fight these bullies, she taught me how to be confident and strong, she taught me how to be courageous and not to be scared of anything .

Thorns grew from the petals of roses around, forming a spiral shape. The air, husky and aggressive. Lana, clothed in white linen that stopped around her knees, barefoot walked the straight path to where she could see brightness. Jerked out of her trance, she whined in pain, reaching for her feet. They were bleeding, having been pricked countless times by the thorns on the path she wasn't conscious of.

"But she failed to mention the motherfucking sea of carnivorous roses!" A thorn sliced into my arm, and I hissed. Great. These things weren’t just strong; they were sharp as hell too. I twisted my body, trying to reach for the knife I stole from that fae’s house in Uganda strapped behind my back. My fingers barely brushed the handle before another vine lashed out, pulling me back down. The scent of the roses was thick and intoxicating like honey and blood mixed together. My head felt light for a second, and a strange buzzing sound filled my ears.

I looked around to find a note near the vase. #Bribe 2.2: Hope you're still in a good mood after #bribe 2.1. But if not, then these will definitely improve your mood. White rose reminds me a lot of you, y'know. Beautiful to look at, but can make you bleed if you press a wrong button, or wrong part of the stem. XD. Anyways, I'm learning how to prevent it.
