My Pretty Husband
I make a silent promise: I will protect him, no matter what it takes.

Dongju and I leave for Chansaem Village after lunch. We take a bus from the hospital — it's about a two-hour ride from Seoul. The moment I step foot in the village, something in me loosens. The scenery is breathtaking. It’s quiet, green, and peaceful. Maybe I can finally breathe here. I just hope Dongju doesn’t beg to go back to Seoul anytime soon.
Dongju carries two of our suitcases — our whole lives packed into them — and slings a heavy backpack over his shoulders. I feel guilty, knowing he’s just recovered, but I’m also carrying one suitcase and a backpack. Dongju insisted on helping.
