I stood abruptly, and the chair flew backward. My eyes burned red with fury. and my body shook violently. “Under my mark, she dared!” I snarled. My claws sprouted and my bones began to realign. “My Alpha,” Liam's trembling voice broke into my consciousness. I charged at him, lifted my paws, ready to crush him. He yelled, “Alpha Fauz!!!” I stopped at the last moment, wheeling myself backward. Slowly, my transformation ceased. Furs disappeared and my claws gradually turned to nails.

I replied firmly, my hands clenching into fists. Henry’s gaze turned cold. “I don’t have time for this. Give me the child.” “No,” Ana said, her voice shaking but defiant. I wasn't chemically transformed. The blood of my transformer that flows in my veins is over four hundred years old. Why wouldn't it work with me? He studies me for a moment, then smiles.
