I spat then punched him across the chest causing him to stumble backward. The hunters quickly charged at me furiously. I folded my hands ready for them when I heard loud growls from behind. I glanced there and noticed how most of my warriors were now in their Tasmanian forms. They rushed past me, some jumping in mid-air landing on the hunters, striking without holding back. Some warriors began firing guns while some held on their swords pretty well. My focus was solely on the hunter with the daggers. His interest in Hera was what made me want him dead.

Was the fucking thing grinning at him? He whipped out his chopper, an eight-inch Afrikaner Bowie his uncle brought back from the Boer War, and drove it into the thing’s temple. Or tried to. True to his prediction, the creature blocked the knife-wielding arm with its left forearm, stepped inside his guard and delivered a teeth-rattling uppercut that lifted Quincy off his feet.

Then he would face the embodiment of terror. With supernatural speed, I darted across the street and dove into the alley between the two buildings. Bastard didn’t know he was dealing with an enforcer from the Volkovs, the notorious werewolf mafia, and my adopted family. Few outside of our pack knew we were actual werewolves and we liked it that way. My claws extended and I raked them down the side of the dumpster. I heard his heart rate speed up, and I smiled. “You stole from the wrong person,” I said, adding a growl at the end.

Its black, spiked body rippled with dark energy, and its glowing eyes locked onto him with predatory hunger. “Survive,” Malrik ordered, stepping back into the shadows. “And show me you’re more than a scout. Prove to me that you’re the First Soldier.” The beast roared, charging at Bruce with terrifying speed. Bruce didn’t flinch. He shifted instantly, his wolf form springing forward to meet the creature head-on. Their clash was a blur of claws, teeth, and raw power. The beast’s strength was overwhelming, but Bruce’s agility allowed him to dodge its attacks, each movement calculated and precise.

My father always said that the wilderness lives in me, bringing storms and raging winds through my skin for the world to feel. So I become the wilderness itself. I gather all my strength, all the storms inside me, all the blizzards and wind. The feel of power rise in me, energy filling my body once again. I jump to my feet, ignoring the crushing pain in my left thigh and brace myself for what I am about to do. I will most likely get instantly killed by this fucker, but it's better than all of this shit. And well, I do a lot of stupid shit when I'm angry. So, going against all my instincts, I bare my teeth, push myself forward and jump on blue eyed monster to rip his throat out.

Beast surged forward, its hull glowing with a faint, blue-white light as it pierced the fabric of space-time. The ship's passage through the distance was smooth and silent, leaving behind a trail of a distorted blue haze. The viewscreen flared to life at my command: "On screen!" as it locked onto their leader. With a burst of light, Beast dropped out of warp drive directly in front of the reptilian, its sleek hull gleaming with a fierce, battle-ready intensity. "Locking on..." Sam announced, his fingers dancing across the control panel with swift, confident strokes. A low, ominous hum filled the air as Dad and Sam charged up Beast's weapons systems, ready to unleash its fury.

Before anyone could make a proper reaction to this, Kronos shot a glare at Alpha Felix before turning to Xavier and speaking icily, “Alpha Xavier, I suppose you understand perfectly the reasons why we have to be here. We had no patience to tolerate wanton behaviors from idiots.” Xavier frowned at his word. “You fuck —” Alpha Felix bellowed at Kronos Lang. Muscles on his back tightened, furs growing. It looked like he was about to shift before making a dash towards the vampire. “Enough!” A powerful growl thundered up, bringing the imminent fight to a sudden halt. “It’s not a place for quarrels!” Xavier bellowed, eyes blazing with intensive rage and dominance, “You are in Red Moon now, Alpha F

It was more than enough to take down the guards, no matter what armor they wore. Claire was similarly armed. Though she kept an electrostatic pistol on her thigh, she instead wielded a StunPulse SMG. Unlike the pistol, the StunPulse projected waves of ultrasonic energy in a cone in front of it. Those waves completely disrupted neural activity in any living creature. Or at least, any biological creature. It certainly wouldn’t do anything to the drones. Claire adjusted its output into a relatively wide cone, then activated the SMGs auto fire mode.

Facing the powerhouses’ attacks, James did not have the time to consider his actions. At once, he entered the Second Marciais Combat Form. His entire body exuded gray light. A powerful aura exploded instantly. Then, he raised his hand, and Quasar Tribulation Clouds filled the sky. The Quasar Lightning was mixed with dark Tribulation Lightning as it struck. The powerhouses that headed toward James were engulfed by the lightning. They stopped in their tracks and began to tremble.

I slam the door behind me, leaving Terris inside. Ambling downstairs, I find the beast lounging on the settee with his eyes closed, too calm for my liking, like a lion ready to strike. He always keeps a gun with him, and right now, he is stroking his face from the nose up to his forehead with it repeatedly. His disposed gigantic trunk is heaving up and down from his massive breathing. He doesn't look approachable. I don't think I should talk to him right now. I should probably wait for him to calm down a little, if that is even deemed to happen.
