Taylor absorbed Vendetta back into his body then reverted Barracuda back to its original form. He transformed back into his human body and his eyes shifted back to his singular blue pupils. “That is going to take some getting used to,” Eliza said. Bonnie walked a few feet away to look at the wreckage of Pierview.

The Beta instructed. My vision went read as blood rushed through me, my muscles burning as something finally clicked on in me. I felt my bones bent and crack, my skin melt and elongate with my frame. “Ha! Happy Birthday, mutt! Sorry this will… be… yer… last…” I towered over the five males as I heaved above them, my transformation complete as I gazed at the in cool calculation.

"Before he kills us all." "We can't kill Zephyr." I stand. "He's our mate. Our love. Our family." "He's void now." Erebus summons divine power. Weak. Fading. "And void doesn't love. Doesn't remember. Her chest tightened painfully. “Get out,” she whispered. “No.” “You need to leave.” “I’m not leaving you.” The certainty in his voice nearly broke her. The Crimson Alpha slammed Xander backward hard enough to send him crashing into one of the stone pillars. Bailey’s heart stopped. “Xander!” The Crimson Alpha turned toward her slowly now. Victorious. Patient. Like this had already been decided. “You feel it now, don’t you?” he said softly.

The girl Bazaar claimed to be his Alpha's mate. "You expect me to believe that this girl is the Supreme Alpha's mate?",his voice was as sharp as a clap of thunder, and he glared up at the shadow warrior before him. "If indeed she is mated to my Alpha, you've signed your own death warrant because you have hurt her" "I can revive her",Bazaar spoke quickly. "That is not a problem. Please, don’t do this,” A desperate Bellatrix begged, hating herself for being so weak that she couldn’t even attempt a partial transformation like her mom did.

Even as her claws scraped the floor. Vivian laughed like a villain in a bad play. “Such a pathetic look on you, Alpha. This is only the beginning. She'll choose the mate bond, her true mate.” Her eyes gleamed as she looked behind me. “And trust me, it isn't you.” Before Nick could rip her apart, Vivian vanished into black smoke, clutching her right arm. the woman asked, her voice crackling with age and distance, perhaps a bit of caution. “A friend,” she replied. Cassidy had no way of knowing whether or not the woman could also see her own thoughts, how she’d been turned. If so, she might see more than just Zabrina scratching her. She might see Jamie injecting the Transformation serum that had saved her. Cassidy tried to concentrate on Zabrina’s face as her jaw had stretched beyond the limits of human capacity so that, if the other Vampire could see into her mind, she might think she was just like her. “Where is everyone going?”

"Shaped by adversity, tempered by love and loss. Only then would you be strong enough to stand against the coming storm." Xander moves to stand beside me, his presence a steadying force. "And now?" he asks, his voice tight with barely contained emotion. "What happens now?" The Weaver's form solidifies, taking on an appearance that makes my breath catch in my throat. It's me – or rather, a version of me. Older, wiser, with eyes that have seen the birth and death of universes. "Now," it says – she says – in a voice that's hauntingly familiar, "we fight. Together."
